I am confused.

Jeez, McGonagall is even more disgusting and useless than she is in canon. And Harry continues to be her lapgod on a leash. So much words making his point and all for nothing, because she threw some meaningless treat of expelling him, and Harry is ready to wiggle his tail and bark by her command.

Very interesting idea, but you're making the same mistake JKR did with this Ron & Harry fallout, and you're even making this worse. Boys do NOT behave like this after such fight. Harry would NOT beg Ron for forgiveness or trying to "make Ron stop being angry at him" or "wanting nothing more to make good with Ron". Boys do NOT behave like that, unless you're making Harry gay or something. And honestly, this Harry's speech to Ron was a little disgusting.

This was a fantastic start well done

Was going through my follower stories and rediscovered this gem in the process. I forgot how enjoyable a read it is. The writing is great and the character interactions are just charming. I also like how you seriously portrayed Ron’s faults while still giving him a chance at introspection and development. I can’t wait until the next update!

Oh. Wow. Oh WOW.

I love this. I really do. So often perfectly fine stories turn into bashing fics against Ron, without giving him a chance to redeem himself. And this story, you fine, fine writer, does it beautifully.

I think a lot of this hate against Ron stems from the movies, where he was sadly put into the comic relief position of the trio. But even in the books, where all three do contribute towards the story, Rons 'failures', which are perfectly human especially for a teenager in the midst of puberty, were enough to bring forth a community which does hate him quite a bit.

That's why I love this chapter so much. Showing Rons thoughts and his redemption. It shows why he was one of Harrys best friends even after fourth and seventh year.
