Reviews for Fog on the Windows
Guest chapter 40 . 5/11
I rewatched the entire walking dead series recently and found myself needing something more from the Bethyl ship. This does the trick and fingers crossed that it’s updated soon. I know it’s been a year but this was pretty good. I could have done without some of the smut but I’ll take what I can get lol
Marina Antolini chapter 24 . 10/7/2019
OMG they are so sweet and hot together. I love this story!
MarinaAntolini chapter 22 . 10/7/2019
Damn, that was hot!
MarinaAntolini chapter 14 . 9/27/2019

soniabell chapter 3 . 8/26/2019
I want a back rub.
soniabell chapter 2 . 8/25/2019
Darryl needs to lighten up, poor Beth's ass can't take it no more
soniabell chapter 1 . 8/25/2019
Oh wow. I'm in.
Guest chapter 40 . 5/20/2019
Is Carol at the Kingdom or will she have a different arc? I actually like her with Ezekiel, but I hated that back and forth killer to pacifist thing the writers did to her...hoping she’s still willing to do whatever it takes to keep her family safe!
Guest chapter 35 . 5/20/2019
You made my heart stop for a minute after seeing the words “Maggie Rhee’s grave.” And Daryl being so sure Beth was a hallucination was gut-wrenching.
Guest chapter 34 . 5/20/2019
“The places where, she had it on good authority, her family was being kept. At those places, a side building that housed Glenn, under a second floor window where Sasha paced, and near her own room where Carl was, Beth crooned out a tune she'd never heard before.”
“If Jesus and Glenn hadn't gone after the others, which she couldn't imagine, they'd wind up there eventually.”

Wait, so Negan took Jesus too? As for Sasha, is it bad that I’m REALLY hoping that her being taken by a murderous psychopath will make Tyreese shed his pacifism and become the total badass he was in the comics out of love and desperation for his sister? I hope so! I’m glad that you aren’t following along with canon too much with keeping Glenn/Abraham alive and having Negan take captives instead. I always thought that Negan would s had much more success if he always took captives instead of executing people...I mean, once he murders someone that a group (be it Alexandria, Hilltop, or the Kingdom) cares about/loves, all it does is create rage. There’s nothing that can bring that person back to life and so there’s no reason for the bereaved not to fight back. But with live hostages, that would ensure compliance because of the hope they wil eventually be returned safely.
Guest chapter 31 . 5/20/2019
What I'm really meanin' is that this group we're supposed to be goin' up against is a' threat we know nothin' about.”
...
“They got a' general idea about where this base is and what to expect at best, Daryl c'mon." Her eyes watched someone he couldn't see pass behind him, and then she continued. "What's this Negan guy even look like? How do we know there aren't more guys than what they're expectin' or other bases even?"
...
"I want," she hissed, not retreating an inch, "somethin' more than a' halfcocked suicide mission that's gonna include me an' just about every person I care about killing an entire building full of people.

Sigh...too bad Beth didn’t speak up and say what they were all thinking except for Rick...as for Dwight, I never understood why he hated Daryl SO much! Like Negan said, he was really gunning for Daryl...at yet, as I see it, Daryl’s got way more reason to want Dwight dead than Dwight does him. What’s with Dwight’s fixation on Daryl?
Guest chapter 30 . 5/20/2019
Gahhhhhhh jehehheuuagevhwugxhsjjwyrudhhzhhsjsjiwjjs! I can’t believe they allowed Jesus to get into their heads and went with Rick’s plans to be guns for hire for the Hilltopites just for food! For fuck’s sake. I’ll tell you what they should have done...the Hilltopites went on and on about how they didn’t have WEAPONS to fight the Saviors—-well, the Alexandrians should have just ARMED them for food! They had more than enough guns to give to Hilltop to take care of their own goddamn problem! Or they could have armed the Hilltopites and then made them come WITH them to take out the Saviors.
Guest chapter 29 . 5/20/2019
“Without his bow or a suitable replacement, they'd gone to setting snares which meant no big game was being brought in...The garden would take a while to yield, he and Beth could only catch so much small game, handicapped the way they were, and stores were running out faster than could be replaced.”

Never got any on the show, Daryl didn’t look for another bow to replace his stolen one. He didn’t seem too sentimental about replacing his brother’s motorcycle with the one Aaron helped him build, so I don’t think it’s sentiment holding him back on this...I mean, there’s gotta be a Cabela’s or hunting store somewhere around where he could find another crossbow or even a compound bow! Or even Dick’s Sporting Goods has hunting bows...or a cabin somewhere that a hunter had hunting th equipment at. Or even a rifle! Otis hunted with a rifle! Even if it makes noise, it would be better to bring in a buck or too than to not have enough to feed everyone with! Also, what about fishing? Not sure exactly where the Alexandria community is, but assuming it’s somewhere in or around Alexandria the city, there would be streams and ponds pretty much everywhere because of all of the rivers in Virginia!

But it was nice to see Carl! We haven’t seen him much so far in this story...and I loved seeing everyone so light-hearted in the garden! Abraham and Tyreese throwing water and mud at each other was funny.
Guest chapter 28 . 5/20/2019
I love that Eugene calls Daryl Beth’s paramour and that carol calls him her beau! So adorkable! And I like the idea of Beth and carol turning into badass avenging angels of death, taking down anyone who tries to hurt their family...really hoping you have carol avoid her “goddamn pacifist bullshit” as Daryl said about Morgan.

Also still hoping that with the whole community growing crops, there will be no need for Rick to even think about going along with Jesus’ plan. I know most people love Jesus, but I’m decided less enamoured with him. I’m pretty sure in the back of his mind, he was hoping that Negan’s Saviors and Rick’s group would kill each other off so that Hilltop didn’t have to give crops to ANYONE, not just Negan. He loves his people, sure, but that definitely worked to the Alexandrians’ detriment so I’m not so sure his live is a good thing.
