Why wouldn’t Taylor use some of the more esoteric warp powers like teleportation or something to get the family out of there, or hell do that knock out thing to all 3 combatants it doesn’t seem like something that would be hard to do with her current strength even if it’s one at a time?

Why doesn’t Taylor aim to just graduate early? I know it can be used to look at her as a cape and all but some more possible survalience by other parties is likely worth getting out of Winslow given that she isn’t really getting anything out of going there

Also couldn’t Taylor and Emps figure out powers via reading the parahumans mind about it? Maybe not all the details but in a fight you generally think of what to do next and your powers would entail that.

Really like this. Mentor Emperor is pretty fun so far. Also just flat out avoiding the Lung/Undersiders fight, that was pretty good. Very different first night for Taylor.

Yup, out. One of the most interesting things about stories is relationships. Taylor in this story has virtually none of that. She has a distant friend GG, but that's about it. Without relationships it is basically a monologue with few real stakes for the main character. Plus this is way too drawn out and dark for me. Possibly due to 40k influence, but there you go.

This story is absolutely delightful.

As an avid follower of both universes, this is the crossover that I hadn’t been quite sure I wanted. But it’s what I’ve been missing. Please, god keep this story going.

My only nitpick is that at a certain point in this chapter, like, three dialogue bits are introduced or ended with someone clearing their throat in a row. Twice, maybe, but three times stuck out as a tad eye rollin.

I've read the both the chapter and comments. I am glad that Luna lives and I don't understand dissatisfaction. You see in canon Taylor was facing challenges that made her grow. Here there were none (as Emperor noticed, really). Now she will face death of wards, death of her ex-friend (whom she never kills in nearly any fic), unmasking and all the future slaughter (courtesy of Luna). That will change her, at last.

It's a pity that she found Coil's civi identity. It could be interesting challenge to fight him without that knowledge - like trying to find a cult with governor being cult's head. Investigation, betrays and all that. Well at least we will found out how another time-line went in next chapter. Maybe.
