GOD this whole fic kills the man. Just - I love how you developed it ? Peter being this scared but angry kid refusing to speak out of spite like god that's so good! Especially considering you address how much he must miss his mom. Here he is thrown into a new environment (that's violent and terrifying) and probably going through the stages of grief and you described it so well! Also people mistaking yondu for his dad was precious omg thank u,, and don't even get me started on Ali lik ! Ego is the biggest dick there is and I cry every time I read fics where it discusses his other kids :((

This is written so beautifully! I've been on a kick to find all the Yondu and Peter fics I can to fill that hole in my heart and this is by far my favorite! Yondu is realistic, kindly and fatherly where appropriate and not OOC-often the downfall of many fics like this, but you mastered keeping all the characters true to themselves! I am absolutely in love with your writing and look forward to more from you, especially if it involves Yondu and Peter.
