I nearly cried... I hate the cruciatus curse more than anything and it's also my biggest fear

So I reread OOTP and I forgot Umbridge almost used the Cruciatus Curse on Harry! Disgusting. I really like your take on this, I can imagine something very sinusoid happening had Hermione not persuaded her otherwise. I know it’s a one shot but I think it would be interesting to see how this would play out in a longer version; perhaps people will start putting their foot down when they realize she used an unforgivable curse (she even implied Fudge wouldn’t approve, and we know how much shit he allows to happen.)

I loved this story. Umbridge is so terrible and I love how Snape reacted to all of it. Everything seemed so perfectly in character of how they are in the books and how the Slytherins just lost it was kind of funny. Thanks for writing and sharing.
