Huh, that was pretty damn good for a short story, you made the characters believable, the motivation clear, description was good enough to make it easy to imagine, and the reactions of Heloise were pretty realistic for someone in her situation. Great Job!

Goddamn it, I hate that piece of shitty fanon that makes Lamperouge Marianne's maiden name. Ohgi's explanation is the exact reason why only someone clinically retarded would have chosen Lamperouge as an alias if it was so obviously linked to his mother: any moron looking for them would notice it immediately. Even with the Ashfords falsifying documents and lying to eventual investigators, Lelouch was publically well-known (Vice-president of the Student Council, nothing less!) in an upper-class school. AND that's the name he was using when trouncing nobles in chess games. Even if you somehow make him arrogant and/or dumb enough to actually take that risk and bet on no-one ever repeating his name near someone who knew off Marianne's name, the people who did look for him (Clovis and Jeremiah, to mention only the most obvious ones) would have found him very quickly. Keeping both their first names was risky enough.
Well, that was a long rant to tell you this: don't make Marianne's name Lamperouge, it lowers the IQ of everyone involved to near nothing.

Why would Nunnally think that C.C. gave her to the Emperor? Her hearing is too good to confuse V.V.'s voice with C.C., so she has no reason to think that. Especially since V.V. himself told her he wasn't C.C.
