| Timeline Issues chapter 1 . 4/22/2019 Alright, I am absolutely confused by the timeline, hopefully, you can clarify this with the next chapter or re-edit this chapter and the following chapters and go forward with a correct timeline. First, does this story take place according to canon, during the Order of Phoenix events? If it does, then the story has some very serious flaws time wise. Harry is 15 going onto 16 the summer after the battle in the ministry, so he would only miss the time ending with the Half-Blood Prince story, so how is it that when he has his birthday, his 17th birthday, it is still before the Deadly Hallows timeline? The reason why is everyone in his and Draco's class would have graduated from Hogwarts. See, it doesn't add up at all. I have also seen a 3-year jump from Minister Fudge dismissal and Shaklebolt's reign which again, does not add up with the rest of the story if it takes place immediately after the OOP story. Hopefully, you will clear this up or simply go back and reset the timeline mentions to only 1 year at most for the story which is much more believable to me than the jumping around of 2 or 3 years as you have stated. Worse option, just start the story over with it ending with the Goblet of Fire and somehow Harry miraculously captures Wormtail and use that as proof of both Sirius's innocence and Voldemort's return. |
