I love it.

This is THE BEST. And frankly in my opinion the only good(ish) way for the show to handle Linstead. There are no other options that would (a) make any sense, or (b) make the fans happy (other than her staying obviously).

Aww I loved this. I've just got back from NY and counting the blocks is the only way I can find my route to where I need to be! I can imagine Erin being hesitant about proposal given what's already happened. Thanks for writing this x

Yes! This! This is the only acceptable way for Linstead to go. I mean, it's not ideal, but it's better to know they are happy and together but in different cities at the moment even if it means we're not seeing it/them together on the screen.. It's so heartbreaking if they go the breakup-route because why? Two people perfect for eachother, the love and trust between them can't/shouldn't be ignored, dismissed or minimalized in the coming season(s). And Jay with someone else? Not here for it! Oh my, as you can see I have some opinions about the show..now back to the review: Awesome job! You're an amazing writer! Longtime fan here! :)

As promised, I went back to read everything in detail. It's even more beautiful now. I teared up but in a good way. Far from ideal, but they're choosing to fight for it together. I love how they couldn't stay apart long, made love when she came back for the night and then didn't stop communicating afterwards. They can't leave each other behind, I fully believe that. No matter what Hank or anyone else tries to say or do. I freaking love that she got him almond milk, and that she found him cooking chest-naked. They're domestic even when not living in the same state. I love the idea of them sneaking around, I can totally see Will not being in the loop because of his "she doesn't want to be saved" comment in the finale among other things. I love how they decided to give this a go, no matter how complicated, because the love and devotion is still very much there. I love how Erin doesn't want to rush into marriage but also doesn't hate the idea of it either, and I love that she wants it to be special and deserved when it happens. The last part was lovely, with her remembering all that he has done for her, and his words echoing the "oh,definitely" he once said. Love this, babe. Thank you.

Seriously hope this is the sort of direction they go in the show because anything else will be highly disappointing. This was so well done and my heart is clenching with sadness but hope, and all the other feelings in between.
