Oh come on, Harry should have won just on account of Percy Jackson series having much worse writing.

The bit about prophecies made me laugh. Harry can complain about his prophecy all he wants, but when it comes down to it, Percy has the worst luck with them.

Mostly in character though you make Harry feel a bit too innocent oddly enough. I agree that Percy would probably win in a battle between them, but only because Harry isn't exactly known for thinking and demigods are a bit faster and stronger than your regular human. Had Percy been up against a more intelligent wizard he would have been down for the count before he even knew what was happening. Fact of the matter is that wizards have a versatility of power that even the Greek gods show no signs of matching, and as long as they have the power and smarts to back it up they aren't likely to lose. Harry, while having the power, lacks the smarts, nor, for that matter did he seem as desperate to win. Percy having a trauma regarding being memory wiped was much more determined to win than Harry who just didn't want to be breaking the law by letting someone leave un-obliviated.

Harry could have transfigured him or apparated to somewhere with a better vantage point. Or levitated Percy... Face it you wanted them to talk.

That's really good work there. You kept the characters in character and everything made sense. You even put the "don't get me started on prophecies" bit by Percy, which I really like. It's well written also. Good job!

I love the way you put it, and I have to say that I agree with the outcome. Harry's versatility and Percy making do wit what he's got like that. This was an awesome fight and I could see it in my head as I read.
