A bit depressing but that’s a new point of view cause it always marinette who didn’t see the difference... but wow so there’s a fix where adrien is blind too...

Really, people shouldn't be so harsh on Mari's feelings towards Adrian. It's like they don't bother to consider the fact that Mari was all too ready to ignore his handsome skin to bare her teeth at the boy she'd presumed (incorrectly, I know) to have put him on her chair.

Yes, she thinks he's handsome. But why though? How many times has he allowed her to see behind his self made mask? Not often.

The whole point is that neither Mari nor Adrian are confident to allow their alter identified, who they could be, into their everyday lives. Mari is basically drowning herself in insecurity and Adrian is so afraid of rejection that he probably isn't even aware of it.

That doesn't mean either side is false. Adrian does let some of himself out when he's not Chat. He expresses himself, shows a little personality. The more he interacts with him, the more "Chat-like" he becomes.

Likewise with Ladybug. Bit by bit, as they grow and encounter new challenges, they change. We are not who we start out to be. We all have a side to ourselves that we fear allowing others to see.

I enjoyed this fiction, it was bittersweet and lingering. I have hope that Mari will mature from her experience. That this will affect her and help guide her future decisions. It was well written and was obviously given more than a passing thought.

That last line kills me. "All the while loving her masked self, he rejects the girl behind it" HELLO CLUMSINETTE YOU DO THE SAME THING AS WELL! Adrien "Perfect Agreste Son" is his laser self, while Cat Noir Kitty is whom he truly is!

Honestly Clumsinette has no right to have grief. She always saw Adrien as perfect NO FLAWS when Cat Noir knows The Bug isn't but loves her enough with her flaws. Marinette can't or WON'T see it to have the golden model you need to cherish the claws with flaws!

Clumsinette saw Cat Noir in Adrien? I honestly can't believe that line at all. This fanfic is very well lovely written, it got my emotions riled up nicely. Thanks for publishing it.
