I can see you've put a lot of thought into the changes Lars may have gone through on top of the ones we already know about. I like the different reasons Lars came up with for why he wasn't as scared or freaking out. I like to think it's the combo of feeling comfortable around the off colors and having a protective/machure mindset that he developed towards them and Steven.

Seance he was the only one who could really do anything against the robots without having them attack him in return, he kind of got an ace in the hole feeling and for the first time felt he had to and could help. Pulse he did have a few miner freak outs after he was brought back to life, the one where he realized he might be a zombie, when his hair glowed, when he was told the off colors wouldn't leave him, and when he shouted that Steven was arguing with him.

It's always fun to see what others think about the same scene and see what new revelations are revealed. Great work on showing the relationships that are growing between Lars and the gems. You got an amazing attention to detail in your story and I enjoyed every minute of reading it.
