Poor Ace. And it seem like this AU World has some bad people managment skills if they kill of anyone that could be a threath, instead of actually coming up with ways of dealing with it, Powers and all.

You seem to know how to make me thirst for more, as this story just makes me long for more. Though this small story can stand on it's own, it also has lots of potential to continue. Like how will Ace cope with the fact that his best friend seemingly wanted to kill him because of his powers? How will Sabo cope with losing his best friend because of some strong powers? Will he hunt him?

How will Ace learn to control his power - if he can? How will his life be now? Will he find peace and happiness? Or will he forever be hurt because of Sabo?

See? I got so many questions. Maybe it inspires you to continue, maybe not. You are not obligated to do so. Just me being curious.

Heroes and villains, hm? I really like it! I'm a bit sad that Sabo is on the bad guys side and I can't imagine how horrible Ace must feel. But Marco was so cool! And now I wonder about this surveillance thing, about Luffy, about almost everything! You said a few things but not much, there's plenty of room for developing your story and explaining us. But that's your call to make. If you want to continue, though, I'll be glad to read the following chapter(s). Thanks for sharing this with us!
