Ka-Ka-SHI. Argh. Yeah. I am so glad this is written. Kakashi cannot be all, "If I can't have her because I've decided I'M TOO OLD, then NO ONE can have her based on..." For Genma it's age, but that's a slippery slope my dude. He just needs to get into the game and see if he can win her heart. Genma, womanizer that he is, is totally in the right and he has a point. Kakashi can sit and drink when he's in love with her, but to expect her life to conform to his ideals and not to suffer... Yikes. Not going to happen.

I love ex-friend's tab. Hahaha. He is being a sore loser about this because clearly age doesn't matter to Sakura.

KakaSaku is wonderful! His dialogue about being shabby and a kiss might kill him in joy... Ah! It's too sweet to handle! It's wonderful! I love that Sakura is this BAMF witch that can subdue the Uchiha curse and bring Kakashi back to himself so they can live out a happily ever after- and that afterwards- Kakashi isn't scared, but looks at her in wonder. It's beautiful.

Shisui. Oh god. This boy/dragon. Itachi was right and I love reading their interactions because Itachi has a point. It's hilarious that upon SPOTTING Sakura and a few sentences he's working out this whole mate/future together because she's beautiful and she's rare and perfect in his estimation. I wonder, idly, how bringing Sakura to meet the Uchiha Fam would go down as they are all dragons and if they would all evaluate her the same way...? Hm! Anyway!

"My little heart can't do this," I whine as I see the title, remember this story, KNOW I'm going to read it, and proceed to read it and feel myself get sadder as the story progresses.

ItaSaku is one of my favorite pairings. I think because there is inherent DRAMABOMB in Itachi being, well, Itachi- but also cracking the cool exterior to get a melty inside and just the thoughtfulness inherent in fanfic Itachi stories I generally read and take a liking to. He's unabashedly tender and his words of devotion always make me give a stuttering sigh and put a hand to my chest for the sweetness there.

This story encapsulates the bittersweetness of things and I wonder, as he goes under the waves- What exactly he thinks and feels. It's such an interesting thing because if he is reading and comprehending complex literature, then he must think and feel something of his captor and captivity. The repeated use of "is good"- I don't think he meant to harm those women, but maybe he was never taught how to find someone and bring them under the waves safely- if such a thing can be done. Sakura was doing a job and that might've been his love- because he had time to live with her and get to know her- but he couldn't communicate verbally much being above ground despite human form. It's a lovely story though even with the tugging on my heartstrings!

I enjoy the way you write Danzo here. He's a fanatic and a war-dog, but he's jealous and petty in his last moments and that humanizes him. I think that's all we really will be in our last moments. I think his interaction with Sakura shows him as he really is and unfortunately, if this is a time fix-it, there was no fixing the base personality for Danzo or she didn't have enough time/impact to change things for him. He covets, and maybe that's where everything else stems from- the jealousy, insecurity, the need to be remembered even through defiance.

I've been eagerly waiting and reading/reviewing other one shots to get to this story! I read it on Tumblr a long time ago- or what feels like a long time ago to me- and I'm still not QUITE sure on how to do the commenting/reply/giving feedback on that site now let alone when this was posted, but now I can post here!

So Welcome to Nightvale vibes are through the roof and I LOVE it! The first part was wonderful! Love the twins and the distinct personalities that were given to Naruto and Menma- Loved that Karin is practical and reminds EVERYONE that Sakura needs food and rest after traveling. I always melt when Naruto is the best friend or lover in a story- that he's Sakura's source of comfort and the words you describe to work with their interactions are wonderful. The sexy moment when he was under her and then flipped her over and was like, "... What do I do now?" was ADORABLE. The three snuggling in their sleep was absolute perfection.

ItaSaku... You're trying to kill me here. I'm an absolute sucker for this pairing. Just an absolute sucker and the link "Itachi Uchiha was too lovely to not be so complicated" is ABSOLUTELY right. The whole act where he is being such a mean, hardass? Believeable. He sold it. When they kiss and he is frightened and he wants to protect his brother? All of those conflicting desires in one mess of a pretty man who is so tender and sweet once the smoke and mirrors are seen through? My poor heart can't take it and I don't know how yours or Sakura's can. I'm smiling while writing this though- I don't want you to think it is a complaint! It's compelling story telling!

I wonder what happened. I recognize that this is old based on your bottom comment so there won't be a continuation, but I wonder how Sasuke betrayed the group. It's exciting to see Hebi and Naruto-Grouping hanging out!

I wonder why she really defected from Konoha. As for accepting this job- It might be trying to draw Sasuke out- show she is powerful and that their group is powerful enough if Sasuke defected for power (again- ugh, his character is so- dare I say it? ANNOYING!) but she might be out there making a name for herself. It feels like there is a lot of bravado coming from her when defending taking this mission in particular. I like that the dynamics of the group allow for that kind of discussion though. I do like the other name for the Akatsuki in this fic- The Dawn Guard was pretty awesome sounding.

I LOVE this fic!

Kisame and Sakura interactions always melt my heart. Just knowing she is so tiny and vulnerable and he saw the state she was in an just took her under his wing.

Zabuza is the prickly cactus I expected him to be, but I appreciate the fact that his character was kept true to form. Sassy!Haku is always a treasure.

Mei is such a girl boss. GET IT! I'm so glad that she took one look and was like, "NOPE. NOT ON MY WATCH BOYS." I laughed at Cho-Cho.

I loved the Part III "Week in the life of Yagura" Like he's such an old man cantankerous grouch- and he's all ready to rip Sakura's face off- and then one interaction and he goes all soft-serve ice cream inside. I'm grinning like crazy. I love the tough guy outside, but soft buttery inside character. It's so yummy!

Ooooh! My heart!

It makes me a touch sad that she is indifferent towards him, but I'm always reminded that marriage for love is a very, very modern and romantic concept. In my head I am very much hoping that they grow to love and care for each other. It's obvious that Toneri is head over heels for Sakura, but I want her indifference to morph into something fiery and passionate- he did go against his father's wishes for her hand after all.

I really, really want to know what Sakura has going on under the mask ... Slavery tattoos and that's why she is looking for money and freedom? Just that she is female in a dead world? That she has pink coloring and is gorgeous- a bit of color in a dying world?

Ahh. So good. I love this story and I liked the Mad Max movie that came out a few years ago! Colors were gorgeous. It was a hard watch- so I've only seen it once- but its one of those brutal, heart, twisting films.

I enjoyed the description of the seasons and the fact that they are based on 28 days.

The nick names are cute as are the teasing despite the despairing atmosphere and world!

WAFFLES. Why is it always waffles? I want waffles so much and I am not having waffles for dinner. In fact, waffles are no where in the food forecast.

Also- this story was adorable! I relate to Pein more than might be comfortable with the not wanting to bother people because I'm intense. I've been told as much in a negative light in my formative years and it hurt my feels- so now I just play it off like a big ol' joke. I am more on the obsessive end of things too. Pein is BIG MOOD.

This was a great story! I love the her nails did some serious damage because Tobi didn't take her seriously because she was small, pretty, and female. Hmph- GET IT.

Also, falling in love with her after only that bit of time- battle prowess, setting up/tending to camp, and making sure he is all taken care of? PLUS the stories and the looks and the running of the empire? Yes please.

And he has to compete with the Uchiha who got shut down in the previous scene and a Hyuga? Aw yiss.

The last line of this story gave me shivers and the hair on my arm is standing up. This is an example of enemies to lovers done right- nevermind that is a misconception on one side, and never considered that on the other, but that makes it an even richer experience as a reader.

I appreciate that she LEFT. It would've been so easy to stay a little longer after the completion of her needlepoint work. I don't know that I could've resisted the temptation to stay a little longer, bask in the love of someone who seemed to worship the ground I walked on. It's a heady thing.

My heart melted!
I love the matter of fact manner that Gaara has and how in the evening he's more open and communicative that he would ever be in the daytime- Sakura needs that, I mean the guy is a beast on the battlefield and otherwise on emotional lock down. How was she to guess?

Plus there's something that warms me to know that just knowing she is precious to one person, and deeply precious if Gaara's reaction and demeanor are anything to go by, leaves me smiling and giddy. Of course in real world this would be terrible, but in fanfic world it's GREAT.

So my boyfriend runs and writes Call of Cthulhu adventures and this made me cackle. I'll need to tell him about this story sometime. I wish adventures turned out this way! Puppy eyed Itachi! AAAH! Like- Oh gosh. The level of inner squealing is off the charts.

Everyone else though- Sasuke is such a dork. I'm absolutely NOT surprised that Shisui and Madara were naughty and the other two... Well. TRULY. Everyone aside from Itachi and Sasuke needs a talk about boundries. Itachi might also need it though because I can imagine him being a total cuddle monster and Sakura might be like- I need space!
