Such a cute story. I love it when authors use a little moment or trouble to build an interesting plot out of it. In this case - the broken heel that turned into an interesting conversation between John and Claire, and also them making their relationship public.

THIS. This is how their first Monday morning should go. I like:
a) How Claire and Bender maintained their snarkiness in the beginning, and then trade it in for cheeky affection.
b) How Claire, Bender, Andy, and Allison are stepping up to thinking for themselves and being resolute about whom they want to spend their time with.
c) How Brian is so obviously already in class.
