1. "peering out from a shell" has to be the best way to describe jomo's weird, weird face. i'd go a step further and say that shell is also a crusty old fossil but i don't wanna be mean lol in case he's reading this
2. "you are the knife that cuts me free" IM SKIPPING AHEAD AND IDC. this masterpiece line! what a way to go!
3. klaus is such a smooth mofo here! the way he approaches her dancing, the way he goes like "a mermaid on shore", THE WAY HE PUSHES HER AGAINST THE WALL. jomo wishes he had these skills
4. petty artist!klaus who is super concerned for the purity of his drawings and hates it when you interrupt him is an aesthetic.
5. lil bonnie demanding a memory from him is so darn cute and hot and heartfelt, all in the same stroke.
6. "you don't care about luka" that moment was SO hot, just him denying her convictions. "No you're not". BYEEEEE.
7. i loved that bit about her being a hybrid too and i adore the fact that her growth is told through colors. i love that she chooses to wear black, cuz the show sure didn't give her a choice when it came to expressing her femininity.
8. MAN, to think jomo also had his wedding in jamaica. now i want this fic to stand in for a kat/joseph AU where they both run away from their significant others. "we can't outrun who we are." "can't we?" (florence & the machine playing in the background)
