Thank you for this excellent story, I really enjoyed reading it.

Wow, that was a pretty powerful scene with Sandy opening up to Spencer about how she blamed herself for Rosalyn's suicide, and how she realized she was hurting the people that she loved because she deemed herself unworthy and retreated from them. I really liked how Spencer admitted that he'd done something wrong and felt stuck because of it, that he couldn't forgive himself and move on. Sandy sounds like a very wise person here, telling him to choose to embrace the light and not let darkness rule him. I was so happy to read the part at the end where Spencer tells JJ that it's time he started to help himself.

I had to smile at how JJ teased him, telling him he'd been "Sandyied." :-)

I've just started reading this story and I'm amazed at the depth and knowledge that has gone into it. You're very good at showing Reid working through his psychological issues with Anna Hughes, his reactions to his teammates, the results of the EMDR, his fear and anger. I'm in awe at how this all comes through, and looking forward to reading more.

I loved the ending. Specially the 'gift' for Scratch. I couldn't help but to picture his reaction in my head as Spencer's last trick took place. Simply epic.

This story was a true work of love and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Most of all, the depth you gave all the characters, their reactions and their feelings. It's something we barely see on the show and not many authors do that.

Not that this wasn't exciting before, BUT, now, it's REALLY getting interesting. I love how you have everyone imputing their ideas. That's how a great team works.

Aw, man! I'm sad this is over! But it ended really satisfyingly. The mole thing, I just wish the CM writers would read the whole unraveling of that, they might learn how to unfold a story that isn't swiss cheese. I know, I know, i'm not a writer, I couldn't begin to do what they do - I guess I should just be glad you're a writer who can weave the fabric of a plausible story.

Please continue to write your Spencer; even though I can "leave" him here and imagine him in this universe, your stories bring a great character to life, so Long Live your Spencer Reid!

Would you write a sequel that deals with Spencer's relationship with Claire and being reunited with Hotch?

So glad Spencer wasn't so tired he fell asleep on Clare, and they finally took that "step." I'm one of those who doesn't have to have their music "played" for me, I can imagine it to my heart's content. I do like that JJ's happy that he's with Clare, letting go of him a little now.

I'm also intrigued by the mole case, and how it will turn out; I hope they can actually track it to its root, because i never thought Reid was completely exonerated on the show. All the better if they can prove the NSA was duped by Peter Lewis!

JJ is sad that she wont be Reids number one girl anymore, but Reid had to step aside when Will came along.

Awwww!

Wow, so much in this chapter! First of all, the music connection to dementia patients: this is so important for people to know! I've told my husband if i develop dementia in the future and it's hard to communicate, just play some vintage Elvis Costello, I'll perk right up! So this was lovely to see Reid so upset, and then so amazed within minutes. And comforted to know the people who care for his mother are smart and devoted.

Next, the Garcianess in this chapter was hilarious! Spencer figuring that the Toady was not actually "paid" but more likely protected sounded right, and very timely, too.

Glad that JJ both gave the advice "letting go is never easy," and took it herself, and was happy for him. Now, I hope she will be happy for the result of that relinquishment very soon.

I love how this back and forth between Reid and Lewis is weirdly tense, as in you almost think Spencer is showing his hand, and Scratch will "have him." I loved this: "...he made an instantaneous transition of his facies, to a look of superiority and contempt. He didn't need to make the sound. JJ and Reid both heard the silent cackle." Looking forward to finding out the depth of the deception at the core, and hoping Lewis doesn't get the first thing he wants.

Also looking forward to Spencer relaxing at her place tomorrow night!
