Anoying Contessa is always a plus and that little tiddbit at the end was quite a nice touch.

Now the Fallen and Taylors reaction were not impossible from a logical standpoint but improbable. You somehow still pulled it off to make this story feel not like 100 Crack like others that go the fantastical route. Pretty solid stuff.
