| Some Guy 329756789-01A chapter 8 . 4/26 I actually rather liked this story. Huh. Too bad it hasn't been updated in so long. *Sigh* Ah well. I can always hope, right? I like the somewhat episodic feel to it, short snapshots of Harry's 'new life' in a new world. Kind of perfect for the Harry potter who just wanted to fit in, be known for something *he* did... All that. I can't say I'm overly fond of the modern-fantasy trope of Technology not working around Magic. In general, I hate that trope though I know where it comes from. I'd like to point out that Technology doesn't work around 'high concentrations' of magic, like a completely magical house, or a school for Magic, etc. Otherwise magical children could easily be identified by frequent electrical disturbances in any metropolitan area. All in all? I'll give this story an 8/10. The chapters were a bit short for my tastes, and it made use of a (common) trope I loathe, but all told it was rather good. |
