To all the people defending, may I let you know, this is the same guy who made Dante lose to Raynare and even made him struggle against the likes of Freed. He also once stated Dante's powers are nothing in comparison to Highschool DxD characters which is untrue. So, defend him all you want because it still doesn't change the fact that his fic is an insult and spits on everything fans loved about DMC

And let me clear something up, we don't want Dante overpowered. We just want him to be accurately portrayed what he is in the whole franchise which is a total beast in terms of power. We just want the author portraying Dante's character and powers accurately and show everything we loved about the franchise and character.

Interesting stuff. One minor flaw I noticed. Dante didn't actually kill Nevan to get her Devil Arm. It was talked about in the DMC5 prequel novel. A demon can willingly turn themselves into their Devil Arm form if the situation need be, usually to avoid dying. Nevan, OG Cerberus, and Balrog all willingly turned themselves into Devil Arms. Nevan and Cerb did so because Dante proved his strength to them. Balrog did it because he wasn't didn't want to die yet and would rather take the time as a Devil Arm to recoup his strength for a rematch later. Also implying they can return to their original form when they have their strength rebuilt. As a side note, a demon can still talk and converse while in Devil Arm form, as shown by Balrog who won't shut up when you use him. Something to consider if you want them to be characters in the story. Also note that OG Cerberus was broken in Dante's fight against Balrog, which is why he has to replace it with the King Cerberus who he did fully kill.

I am surprised that you rewrote the whole story, you got a favorite story and author from me cause your that awesome.

Lol I’m going to point out that you’re reviewing your own story. There is no way anyone would have reviewed like that, that’s just sad. Maybe instead of getting pissed at the Dmc fans that are ‘correcting’ you, you should instead listen to them. And while we’re at it Dmc fans need to cut you some slack since this is just a fanfic and your not doing this on purpose. May you hopefully learn and do better than this

I honestly dont know why all you dumbasses are mad that dante "lost" to viser. It's a running gag in the series that dante gets stabbed by his own sword. He still won regardless. So do me a favor and shut the fuck up about dante losing to a weak character when the author was doing was paying homage to the series and no dante doesnt always need to all out all the time. That doesnt fit his personality at all. He likes to play and taunt his opponent like he did with viser. Him going all out doesnt make the story good or exciting just boring and bland like fight scene, dante comes in over. That's boring.
