I'm pretty sure I would have placed the entire council under arrest for gross negligence and criminal incompetence. I mean, there IS a difference between not having enough proof to back up a claim and having it all handed to you on a silver platter but it being something you don't WANT to acknowledge. Politicians have lost their jobs and gone to prison for significantly less. I would have arrested the council, forwarded my intel, intel analysis by the entire ships team as well as mission reports and conclusions and recordings of the warnings passed to the council, to the heads of their respective governments. Also, told those respective governments that if they did NOT take action, not just in recalling and putting the council on trial, but also by amping up military spending and getting ready for war, I would personally send that report to every news media outlet and lay the blame SQUARELY on the council as a whole and by extension, the governments as well. That's not just a black eye, that's multiple amputations as well. Jackass council loves to lay blame on anyone and everyone but themselves.

I'm assuming that the Wizarding World that has hidden itself better which honestly I can't fault them for I mean let's be honest those that wouldn't want to wipe them out would try to exploit the living hell out of them not to mention I'm pretty sure they would be higher on the market for slavers so yeah I can't really fault them for hiding themselves away and probably wouldn't be a good idea for them to reveal themselves without a very heavy and I do mean heavy powerbase to protect themselves against those who would want to kill them or exploit them because I can see a lot of people throughout Citadel space reacting badly to an entire race and species with the literal ability to warp reality however they wish the only limitations they have is raw power and knowledge and those two hurdles can be overcome with time and preparation so yeah I can see a lot of people viewing them as dangerous and deadly and things going very very wrong from there. Hell I don't even want to imagine how destructive and virtually Unstoppable and Reaper created from the Wizards and witches and other magical beings and creatures of the magical world would be.

So considering how well they've hidden themselves unless they decided to use a modified fidelius charm to cover the entire Wizarding World that exists all over the globe I'm going to assume that they have a certain level of understanding of current technology in order to better hide themselves from Discovery?

Sorry, not into the unnecessary and offensive taking of God's name in vain. I'm normally extremely (ok, too) laid back when it comes to "cussin'" - I can flip off a fuck like you wouldn't believe and make sailors blush with my stash of motherfuckers, but I do not like when God and damn are smashed together in some sort of crude "oh, lookie, aren't I badass?!" mix-up. It's just not necessary.
