I agree with Spencer, Help? Why would he want his dad's help now? The man has never been there, for a start. As his mum said, he was a coward. The poor kid having to take care of an ill mother besides himself, and the weak father who appears after all these years to "help"... I sort of want to bash William Reid myself.

Hold on... Is he making amends? Does it mean William is sick, and wants to fix his mistakes on earth before he... damn, I hope that's just my imagination...

And after I read the last few paragraphs... I just hope he won't disappoint his son yet again. If he's going to help, let him do the right thing.

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed in ages. Things have been crazy busy, but I have read up on all the chapters now :) Just when things seems to going in the right direction for Reid, you keep throwing curveballs at us.. I'm starting to worry that this is it for him, no way out... Which would be an interesting plot twist, since that doesn't seem to be what Cat intended. But still holding onto hope for a happy ending, especially now that he has a little baby girl :) I read a fair amount of fanfiction, but as far as writing style goes, I really like yours. There are plenty of fics I stop reading, even though I like the plot, simply because I can't stand the writing style. But I find your fic well written, comfortable to read and you're capturing the characters in a way that makes them believable.

Again you had me at the edge of my seat. Im glad they could bring the boy unharmed back to his mother's arms. And though Matthews deserved the end that he got, it will be let's say inconvenient for Reid. We'll see how they get out of this trouble.

I'm very glad the baby's back into her father's arms, at least for a while. Safe and sound. But yes, they need to tell Cat they found her, if she's willing to make the huge sacrifice to let the baby go for her own well-being, I'm sure she's the thing she loves the most.

I guess there will be no more surprises regarding the baby's DNA, but we never know. Hopefully Reid will be out of jail soon, no need of a trial.

Now, you have to tell us, at least in a quick flashback, how did they found the baby and what happened to Matthews... if they caught him, that is.

I have to confess, like the newbies in the team, I had no idea that it was Matthews' plan all along. He was very smart and almost got away with it. Luckily the older members of the team got to the point.

Now I'm worried about the baby... please catch Matthews soon!

Interesting this title change. It feels like you're giving us a huge clue about the direction the story will take. I still have to figure it out, though xD.

Oh oh... How could she be taken? Makes you wonder if there's someone else far more important than Joel Matthews involved in this plot. Either him or that unknown someone have a huge grudge against Reid... or Cat... or both. I guess we'll find out soon.

I think the team has a big profiling work ahead to figure out why has the baby been kidnapped and then they will know where and how, and hopefully bring her back.

The baby missing makes my heart sink. It was the first real thing, the first true love Cat could have. I would've snapped at Reid for thinking about the DNA test first, too. But I want to think he wants the test done so he can be free with or without Cat's testimony, to help the team find the baby... Otherwise, in the heat of the moment he sounded like a selfish b*st*rd... I hope the penny to drop and for him to realise it's his daughter who's gone.
