Well, one sign of a good story is that feeling of longing once you've finished it. That nagging, "Awh, but I wanted more!" Paradoxical, pleasantly melancholic, yet positive all the same.

So yeah, I had an awesome time reading this. I loved the drama, the humor, the cuter heartwarming moments; all of it was excellent. I've loved seeing Blake interact with her family since their introduction, and I think you did a fantastic job of translating that dynamic over to this scenario. Add in the wonderful chemistry between Blake and Yang- both of whom I think you portrayed very faithfully, as well as the former's parents- and viola, you've got a nice recipe for a good story to be built off of. I'd also like to add that the mental image of a thoroughly incredulous Blake carrying Yang off to bed was.. well, that was too perfect for words to aptly describe.

In short: This was awesome. Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

Oh, would you look at that. There appears to be a knife lodged through my heart, twisting about painfully. I wonder how that might have gotten there.

The transitions between somber, lighthearted, and back again were very smooth in this chapter. They didn't feel jarring in the slightest, which is always appreciated. Sudden tonal shifts can be.. abrasive sometimes. Furthermore, the conversation between Yang and Blake at the end was handled very proficiently. No diatribes, just.. a simple heartfelt talk. A nice note to end the chapter on.

Well…there is still technically Raven left. Maybe something like Team RWBY takes a trip to Anima and something happens Bumblebee stumbles upon Raven's Bandits and story goes on from there. Although you probably should wait until after Volume 5 for that.
Anyway, awesome story. Enjoyed the hell out of it.

Omg, what a fight. XD Ghira needs to chill and listen to Blake, I can't believe he compared Yang to being worse than Adam, but he seems to be learning to like Yang a little now. Looking forward to the next chapter. :D
