Ok a battle plan for England... You say magic attracts certain walkers, plus they sometimes move in herds. So get a ground of 10 or so wixen, have them find a herd on the 'clear's (of people and buildings) highway, go a mile or so ahead of them, set up a circular boundary of about 5 miles or so (that 1st has an illusion for the Mundanes to see nothing and send allows the dead in but not out), and then have Alberta and whoever else she can later teach so they can do multiple attacks at once... Maybe even setting up noise traps to draw them to their location without the wixen needing to move around much cast a massive Fendfyer.

It's what I want out the Harry Potter Walking Dead Crossover. You're really captured an idea, nature of group.
All the father's grief, guilt was touching, I still feel sad. Though I like how you're considering Harry's a near-death experience, his easy accepting death at an early age. I'm thinking that's interesting.
