| DawnScarlet19610 chapter 2 . 7/4 I like the concept, but the breast feeding 3 times per day in order to change Percy's godly blood from Poseidon to Artemis was honestly pretty bad. I just don't see that as a good explanation at all. Also, I could see Artemis changing his mortal mother's blood to hers, but why replace Poseidon's? You just downgraded Percy's powers so much. A combination would have been interesting, but how does the prophecy play into this now if Percy is no longer a child of the big 3? Also, why wouldn't Percy's features all change from a mini-Poseidon to looking like Artemis completely? Why would his blood change but not the features he inherited from his father's blood? Although the idea of Artemis raising Percy is nice, it really isn't a realistic depiction of her. She would bring him to Chiron, since he is male. And the hunters don't hate male children. They hate men, not little kids who haven't grown up yet. Zoe's behaviour makes no sense, especially her fear of Hestia. She's not a little child afraid of a powerful goddess. She's Artmeis' lieutenant for thousands of years, a hespiride, and the daughter of the titan Atlas. Hestia is young compared to her father, Zoe wouldn't fear her. I dunno what betrayal this is heading towards, but what's the actual point in Artemis choosing to raise Percy only to betray him in the end? I'm not sure I even want to find out. |
