this made me really sad, but it was so beautifully written that i cracked a slight smile!

This was such an amazing read, I don't even know how to feel about it. Sad? Intrigued? Or just dumbfounded? That is, ultimately, how I feel about Dazai as a character, too. Nobody truly understands him, do they?

Give him a 'mission' like from portmafia and he'll probably smile

Whoa, this was really written and shows how Dazai handles his depression and numerous issues—cause that man definitely needs help. As a fandom, I don’t think a lot of people address the fact that most of the characters are a bit off kilter, or worse, suffering from some mental illness be it anxiety, depression, etc. So, it’s nice to see that an author is willing to delve into this character’s mind and see what he is truly thinking.
