Tonirae chapter 1 . 9/28/2018
This is so funny. I think men can be more vain than women, and this comes from a woman who's husband is white haired and mostly bald by the time he was 45.
romionefluffer chapter 1 . 3/20/2018
His hair grows normally, it turns green or ends bald for misfortune to poor Ron? (sorry for my english. It's clearly not my language)

This fic is so complet and funny in dark way. Only thing I miss is you doesen't tied up some loose ends like why is Hugo so sensitive or what's Ron's hear final destiny. It will

I do love a fiercely protective Hermione. Poor Ron.
HMRoberts chapter 1 . 9/17/2017
As a one-shot, this story develops very well, great characterization, dialogue and story base. All spot-in a very unique look at an aspect of the Wizarding world that I certainly never had cross my mind, that's for sure. I truly enjoyed reading this short story very much!

The only thing(s) I can see that I feel should have been done/said or not done/said are some "loose ends" and a couple of unanswered questions and a few thoughts:

Hugo -
Why is Hugo so sensitive?

I'd almost think he's rather acting like someone who is somewhere along the high functioning end of the autism spectrum?
Secondly is Hugo's apparent & seemingly frequent, tendency towards illness and - particularly as both Hermione's and Ron's (obviously often done) approach to, attitude towards and somewhat very protective stance over their son; this suggests to me, perhaps, some past trauma or illness cycle could lead to an underlying causation for his parent's manner of action?

The elder Weasleys -

I know that Molly, in canon, was always somewhat overbearing, easy to anger and to judge harshly when not in possession of all the facts of a manner. Arthur, though he had a few moments when seemed to suddenly realize he was the head of his family, the "pater familia", generally came across as a browbeaten husband and a somewhat immature father. Here would have been a perfect "straw that broke the camel's back" opportunity for Arthur finally having had "...quite enough, thank you!" But, that's just my own take on Arthur Wesley.

Finally, the story ends with so many of the beautifully interwoven bits and pieces hanging loosely and left unaddressed; the ones I wrote about above, as well as a few others. In other words, this is more of a terrific first chapter - rather than just as a one-shot, though it does well that way, too.

It would delight me to no end to find you ferreting through your notes to continue this story. It would make for a truly good HP fanfic tale!

(My comments are meant solely as my own opinion and, also, because I enjoyed your story so much, I hated to see it end! Nothing of an unkind or malicious nature from me, quite the opposite, in fact. I dearly love well-written stories like yours!)

No, no, no and no. You cannot have my beautiful Ron being either bald or having green hair. I will never forgive you. Thanks (sort of) for posting.

Enjoyed your story.

Interesting story, a bit different from your usual Ron/Hermione shag-fests. Most redheaded men I know seem to lose their hair rather young. Still, George didn't help matters, he should make sure the warning is in big bright letters and maybe even put a speech spell on it. Did like Harry comparing Ron to Quirrel, just to get under his skin.

Happy belated birthday, again.
