I got just two words for ya “loved it”
little-kingsfan2005 chapter 38 . 2/3
I just finished my reread of this story (first time this year, although I've lost count of how many times I've actually read it), and I have to say I enjoyed it as much as I've done in the past. It's well-written and this story is rare in that the character bashing didn't cause me to leave the story (I'm one of those rare fans who actually likes (or at least can tolerate) every main character in the Arrow-verse, if not every characteristic they have, decision they make, or storyline they're involved with), so well done for that!

As you noted at the beginning of the story, it's nice to read a completed "Oliver-as-Ra's" story, and you've left it in a spot where you could tell more stories with these characters. One thing I'm most interested to see is what do Uncle Ra's and Aunt Nyssa look like to Roy and Thea's kid?

Also, I am a little curious - did you really pack two seasons of story into a single year or was it a little more spread out?

Anyways, thanks for the great story and keep up the good work!
Aragorn II Elessar chapter 38 . 1/31
Well, just finished this and its one of the best Arrow stories and one of the best ones you've written for sure.

First of all- the people Oliver recruited for the League were perfect. Slade is back to normal now, Roy is loyal to him, Nyssa also is his wife and does trust him, and Helena deserves a chance at redemption for sure. And they all got it with Ollie.

Dig got exactly what he deserved in this story. Based on when you wrote this story, its obvious to me that you were planning to redeem him earlier but obviously it didn't stick because of 6x17 and can't say I blame you. Dig acted exactly like in 6x17 when he blamed Oliver for Andy joining up with Prometheus. So nice job there. If he ever mentions this to Lyla, I've a feeling she'll divorce his pathetic ass, considering how far he has fallen.

And you were spot-on with Felicity as well. Even if she does love Oliver, she doesn't trust or respect him, and replacing Billy with her was a nice idea for sure.

And I agree on Laurel, Quentin and Thea as well. Though its good they came around later, as they are better people than Dig or Felicity.

The Darkh part was well done for sure and I liked how Prometheus killed him in the end. And in this story, Oliver wasn't the spineless wimp he was in Season 4 so things got done more efficiently.

Him killing Waller was also very satisfying.

The Roy/Thea pregnancy thing was also handled well in my opinion by you.

And back then Barry hadn't fallen as a character so Oliver telling him and Mari about his survival makes sense as well and loved how you did the Vandal Savage plot, with no time-travel do over obviously.

Side-note, Thea's joke about 'Bunch of superheroes in a farmhouse, feels like I've seen that in a movie' is actually a reference to Age of Ultron as the Avengers hid out in Clint's farmhouse for a while.

And its kind of hilarious how Curtis Knox in Smallville was a much more threatening villain in one episode than Vandal Savage was in a full Season and crossover combined.

And that show also sold me better on the Hawkman/Hawkgirl romance with just one scene where Carter was telling Lois about Kendra and she appeared in his vision. There was more love in one scene there than in any Carter/Kendra scene in the crossover or Legends. They never felt like lovers.

Anyway, got a bit sidetracked there. Shipping off Tatsu and Ray to Legends works as they wouldn't have added much in the long run.

Now I love Adrian as Prometheus, but I agree that in this story, it should have been Tommy. It fit perfectly with the themes of your story, like you said. And worked out pretty well.

And doing Slade's arc from Season 6 was a nice move as well and you added it nicely to the finale along with everything else.

The villains all got exactly what they deserved in this and I liked how Constantine brought Tommy back too.

Nice of Ray and Tatsu to return in the end as well.

Tommy being the Green Arrow is the best way to redeem himself and Malcolm being Oliver's father was a neat reveal there.

Never thought about Slade/Helena but it makes sense. Two broken people trying to redeem themselves.

And Olyssa was an icing on the cake. For some reason, after the series finale, I've been drawn to Olyssa stuff, and this story delivered perfectly on that, and all other counts.

Oliver saying 'I'm happy' at the end of this is much more fitting than in the Season 3 finale.

So all in all, amazing story and I had a blast reading it.

I know this is an old story but Oliver could've had Constantine purify the pit couldnt he?
Primus2021 chapter 30 . 8/18/2019
Until Chase was reveled as Prometheus in the show I thought he was Vigilante and that Malcolm had revived Tommy and that Tommy was Prometheus. Earth X made it kinda real for me though.

I have to admit...I've really started to like the idea of Tommy being Prometheus instead of Adrian Chase. Chase's actor did a great job IMO, but having Colin Donnell be S5 villain's would have amazing since all of Chase's insane beef would have been juicier if it was Tommy doing all the horrible stuff. And Tommy taking up the Green Arrow legacy feels right, as his penance. Though I do wonder at how Laurel and he will work together with their history...Laurel struggled with Oliver being the The Hood & The Arrow before she took up Sara's Black Canary mantle, so working beside another ex-boyfriend and one who was a serial killer while under brainwashing? Tough roads ahead.

Of course it makes sence, if you point a gun at my brother I'd put an arrow through your gray matter. Keep up the good work.

what are you going to do about Oliver's new secret sister from the new season
Oddballzebra chapter 32 . 1/26/2019
Ok this is getting ridiculous. I get that the other League members aren't exactly main characters, but you've got to stop making them so damn weak and disposable. These people aren't your run of the mill cops, they are assassins with years of intensive training. Also do you seriously expect me to believe that when Oliver decided to send Thea and Laurel back to Nanda Parbat, he just happened to forget about is his own son? You criticize the writers of the show for making stupid decisions for their characters yet you are doing the exact same thing. Despite having the entirety of the league of assassins under Oliver's command, he is in the exact same position he was in the show.
The Last Jedi 1992 chapter 38 . 12/11/2018
You should do the Elseworlds crossover in your new age for the league of assassins world. Imagine Barry Allen as the head of the demon. If you have a different idea I am all for it.
