I hate Kenta as much as I am in love with him. He is an absolute asshole but he’s kind of fantastic in a way that makes me actually want to be there when he shoves all their smug faces into the ground. Some of the stuff he says makes sense though. I mean, I am well aware it is their culture, but from the standpoint of someone who has grown up in London it is sort of hard to imagine becoming a six-year-old tool for war. I can’t wait to see where this goes.

I'm really confused about the passage of time here... he's a genin now? so he's not at the academy, but why can't he use chakra yet? is he training to be a ninja. I'm just so confused.

I love Kenta he's an asshole and he keeps sabotaging himself for no reason, I mean I dont know his reasons, all I know is that he is angry that he is going to die but does nothing to try to live; damn I wanted him to use the bijuu.

Kenta is such a surly little thing, isn't he. Is it weird I want to adopt him? I'll love him and I'll hug him to bits against his will and then when he tries to bite me I'll squeeze that little foul-mouthed imp 'till he goes blue in the face. Really. And if he even tries to recite any poetry in front of me I'll stuff his face with food to spare my poor ears and sanity.

alright but consider:
- k junior and her snotty partner and deidara all realize somehow that the village actually fucking hates kenta not bc of his awful personality but bc of just his mere existence
- k junior and her snotty partner and deidara all realize that in all those times kenta said stuff about going nuclear and being a sacrifice he was not actually exaggerating at all
- k junior and her snotty partner and deidara realizing kenta’s actual importance? like maybe in a mission or something and k teacher has to choose between k junior or kenta maybe a enemy nin is targeting an area attack and k teacher can only save one? and after a second of hesitation he chooses kenta and by a miracle k junior escapes with her life, and then there is a really heavy silence that comes from the realization that k teacher chose his annoying scumbag student over his own daughter and deidara and snotty partner and k junior are all shook and then kenta comes with a rlly bad joke or comment and then k junior is just so fucking angry and crying and anyway now she has a legit reason to hate kenta
- kenta just being so fucking tired one day
and deidara taking care of him then!
