It has been a while since I last look at this story. I didn't know it was on School/Island/Salom mode at last. Before I can read this, I have to look over the WHOLE story first cause I need not only a refresher on whoever is and what's going on, but also need to see the ending. Looking forward though to giving this story another read when I have the time cause it was one of the best Danganronpa Fanfics I've seen as I recall.

Well- I must say, that ending was great. I may have only discovered this story fairly recently, but I don't regret picking it up at all. Honestly, I'd say this has become one of my favorite Fangans for how well-written the story and characters were (heck, I even remember just about tearing up at a few spots), and chances are it'll stay that way for a long time. So, really- thanks for making this story a reality and giving readers like me something so great (and heartwrenching) to experience.

(And hey- if nothing else, reading this epic conclusion made me even more pumped up to see my own story through to the end! ...Not that I needed the extra motivation, but I'll gladly take it anyways, so thank you for that as well!)

Okay first of all- I must reiterate that my guess about Umeko being a robot was more of a joke guess, I was not expecting to be right on the money, what the actual-

Second, WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT to put in TWO examples of a Bad End in ONE story? You're a maniac, and honestly I respect that. Can't wait to see how this all TRULY ends, though I feel like Umeko's gonna be facing an uphill battle, to put it lightly.

Okay, I have...several things to say, I need to number them off.

1.) My reaction to that very first line, the reveal of the mastermind's identity: WHAT?
2.) AHAHAHA- I get the title of Chapter 6 now. (Also "Spy" is probably that "Iceman" dude)
3.) OH NO IT'S GETTING META (eat your heart out V3)
4.) as a Fangan creator myself I feel called out-

This trial's as insane as I hoped it would be, and there's still two parts left? Holy HECK (I'm back to thinking Umeko killed Sora, if the bad guys were telling the truth about his killer being one of the five survivors) things are gonna get CRAZY. THEY ALREADY DID, I DON'T THINK I'M READY FOR THE FUTURE.

Well, seems like my idea about Umeko being Sora's killer is a little less likely- although if it does end up being true after all it'll be DOUBLY tragic because they're siblings. Although I still feel like it's more likely it was Nagatomo; for that matter, I'm gonna guess the mastermind is either Azuma (which would make my suspicions towards him right all along) or Nagatomo. I think it'll be Azuma, though, based on Umeko being all angry like "He betrayed me and made me grieve for nothing" at the end there- if she would react that way towards anyone, it would be the guy she cared for and trusted the most in the killing game.

Then again, if the mastermind is Azuma, then...could he have killed Sora too? Hmph, so I've got three suspects now- amazing.

(okay I know it's been a little while but hush I blame life stuff don't me-)

Okay so- before I do any actual speculation, I just wanna say: WHAT THE HECK I WAS JOKING ABOUT UMEKO BEING A ROBOT/CYBORG

But anyways, the plot is thickening nicely, the references to other Fangans was neat too. Here's what I'm thinking- that mystery girl in the "My Beloved Class" photo is the mastermind or acting as the mastermind, Daisuke's either dead or also involved somehow, and Sora- Sora is Sora.

Clearly, Umeko and Seiko are one in the same, I'm just not sure what the name change thing is all about. Additionally, the "FINE SE" message probably means "FIND SEIKO", but was left unfinished for reasons. The D-Project probably involves putting peoples' consciousnesses into...artificial/cybernetic bodies or something, with Umeko/Seiko and Azuma being the two subjects. Umeko is Prototype-A and Azuma was Prototype-B.

I think Nagatomo stole Umeko from the spy organization for the people running the current killing game, hence why he knows her and Azuma's secrets, who then turned around and blackmailed him into participating in the KG. I also kinda think Nagatomo was the one who killed Sora, or at least had a hand in his death, since he implied he 'stole' someone's life once before prior to his execution- could he have been talking about Sora? And as for why the KG organization stole Umeko...maybe to try and use her as a weapon of some kind? And that's why the spy organization wanted her back so bad and ordered Azuma to go retrieve her as a result? And all those 'anomalies' were the result of Umeko and Azuma's D-Project stuff and the KG officials not wanting to screw up their test of them?

There's something else that was bothering me a little, too...and I might just be misremembering stuff, so if that's the case then disregard this entirely. But...how did Samira know Sora's name? I don't remember, did- did Monokuma say Sora's name to the others at some point? Was she there when Umeko saw the thing that said "Let Azuma see Sora's body"? I don't know, but if she couldn't have known Sora's name then...that line's a little more suspicious, then, and so is Samira. But I might just be remembering things wrong.

Alternatively- Umeko killed Sora. Don't know how, don't know when, don't know why, but at this point I'm willing to bet money on anything.

Aaaand I was right! Ooooh, it feels so bittersweet, because Azuma wasn't quite villain or mastermind I thought he would be (yes, I kinda thought he was the mastermind) and just- aaaaah, man, this one really tugged at my heart strings as well, this story really is the Bermuda Triangle of ships...

At any rate, it was a well-made Chapter 5, as crazy as I thought it would be, man it was great! I'm just wondering how all these pieces are gonna fit together in the finale. Like, based on flashbacks and such, Umeko clearly has a connection to the agency Azuma, Daisuke, and Naomi are from, heck maybe she was even a member. And like- it doesn't seem like they're responsible for the killing game, it seems to be someone else entirely, but it also doesn't seem like they're the best people either, based on them just...using Azuma like that.

Either way, Chapter 6- it's gonna be good, I can tell!

Ah crud, I knew something was off- there's still a Part 5 and a Part 6. Although I'll say one thing- first, I didn't expect Samira to be behind both the explosion and the poison crossbow. Second, I think this part confirms my suspicion of Azuma- although I'm not quite sure how he pulled it off. Additionally, I don't know if I brought it up in these reviews or on Discord, but I think I recall speculating that Umeko and/or Azuma had something to do with the killing game- and if I didn't, well- I'm doing it now, I suppose. But anyways, this Bad End seems to make me think that even more as well, so...yeah.

But with all the glitching and stuff, I now have two more theories. Either a.) the killing game is taking place in virtual reality a la SDR2, or b.) Umeko is a flippin' robot. Or cyborg, one of the two.

But aside from the theorizing- neat idea, putting in a 'Bad End' like that. And this isn't even a video game or 'Choose Your Own Adventure' thing- pretty cool how you pulled that off!

Wow, I can't believe I'm actually getting a lot of these details right! Samira being the one who triggered the explosion but not the killer, Ichiro being poisoned via berry stuff on the crossbow bolt- after all these parts and chapters, I'm finally getting smart!

As for who Umeko's gonna accuse...I really don't want it to be Mordecai or Miyumi, but I'm afraid that's where she's gonna go with this, so I'm just gonna go for Azuma because he was in the Radio Tower all day, okay? Okay.

(Oh great- now I feel bad for wanting Yoshihiki to be the culprit. Thanks for that, as if my heart wasn't hurting enough from this chapter.)

But hey, at least I was right about Yoshihiki being someone's intended victim and Ichiro simply being caught up in everything. That said, I still don't think the explosion is what killed him- if the video and the blood on Charlie are any indication, he was alive (albeit injured) after it happened, probably. I'm lowkey starting to like that 'poisoned crossbow bolt' idea I had in my last review more and more, actually. That said, I still think Samira was the one behind the explosion, but maybe not the crossbow thing...? I dunno, there's four more parts to this thing (with an intermission I guess?), I can only imagine how crazy things are gonna get from here on out...

Okay, it's clearly not gonna be Yoshihiki because it's too obvious...but because I want it to be him so badly, I'm going to consider him a suspect.

My other suspects...I'm not too sure, honestly. I do, however, suspect Samira of triggering the explosion- since her alibi for the time was a little weird, and Miyumi and Mordecai found her along the way, plus she could have been responsible for that door slamming Umeko heard. Her motive for doing so would have been trying to kill Yoshihiki because of how much of a threat he is; however, I don't think the explosion was the direct cause of Ichiro's death, so even if she caused the explosion, that doesn't make Samira the killer.

My other idea is that maybe Ichiro had a plan of his own to deal with Yoshihiki (though maybe not necessarily murder), and that's why he was going through the camping bag? And maybe Yoshihiki was aware of it, and that's why he said he knew why Ichiro was in the tower? In saying that, maybe he also knew about Samira's plan to blow him up (assuming that's what happened) and, knowing Ichiro would go to the tower looking for him, slipped away before either of them arrived, expecting Samira to blow up Ichiro by mistake, and that's the real truth behind his 'alibi' in the woods? Again, if I'm right, the explosion wasn't what actually killed Ichiro, so Samira would be innocent anyways.

Besides that, the crossbow bolt is giving me some ideas as well...maybe someone used Miyumi's crossbow to fire that bolt, possibly also with the intent of taking out Yoshihiki (if the reveal turns out to be that everyone and their grandmother was trying to kill Yoshihiki I'm gonna laugh) but Ichiro got hit instead? And maybe that 'weird smell' mentioned was...poison? Maybe those poison berries Ichiro talked about in the one part? Heck, if that's the case, maybe Ichiro died from poison all along and the explosion complicated things.

I know, I'm taking some massive leaps of logic here and I've left out a lot of stuff, but there's so much to this I can only fit so many pieces together at one time. The last I'll say is that...I dunno, maybe it was Azuma? Because maybe he found the mystery boy's body first and that somehow motivated him? Also this is Chapter 5, sky's the limit when it comes to deaths, and with Azuma being the love interest...yeah.

OKAY. OKAY, WHAT? EXCUSE ME WHAT? You can't just- you can't- WHO GAVE YOU THE FLIPPIN' RIGHT TO-!?

I...I don't even know man, I just...I never expected Ichiro to die, his survivor potential...it was so high... (Then again this is Chapter 5, the one where plot armor goes out the window, so maybe I should have expected as much...?)

I can't even say I think Yoshihiki did it because he's obviously gonna be the main suspect, and as the laws of DR state- 99% of the time, it's never the first/obvious suspect. I...I knew I was right to be afraid, but oh man...that ending was...yeesh, I...aaaaah, my poor heart, I can't even...I can't think, I just- I don't know, I just don't know. Maybe...it *was* either Azuma or Samira after all...? I...dunno anymore... (Oh, but as heartbroken as I am- I'm interested as always to see how this mystery unfolds, don't get me wrong!)

Okay, so- I'm 99% sure that Daisuke guy is dead as all heck. I mean, unless Hope's Peak decided to accept two Ultimate Spies, being him and Azuma, but...somehow, I doubt it.

Also, the crazy prankster has a cannon now. That can only end well.

I still say Yoshihiki's gonna end up as the victim, but I'm now leaning more towards Azuma being the culprit (although I still think it could end up being Samira). Suppose it's just a matter of reading and seeing; I am in very much fear for what could happen next.

Okay- game over. Azuma's dead, one way or another. Love interests never last in Danganronpa. Sayaka for Makoto? Chiaki (or, if you're partial to Komahina, Nagito) for Hajime? Gundham for Sonia? Kaede for Shuichi? Kaito for Maki? Heck, it's happened so many times in this story alone! Taro for Miyumi, Fukumi for Mordecai, Eizo for Hanako (even though Hanako's dead now)- this franchise is the Bermuda Triangle for ships, Azuma's next I tell ya!

Well, I'm glad to be wrong about my suspects, but- yeesh! The tragedy was strong here, I loved it but I also hated it because I kinda liked Hanako, but at the same time I did in the beginning of Chapter 4 think she'd be one of the ones to die so...I guess I ended up being kinda right in the end? Yaaaay...?

At any rate, this was a great Chapter 4, the use of red herring was pretty brilliant, Hanako's backstory made me sad as heck, but she went out in a great way. At this point, I think the two who will die next time will be Yohsihiki and...either Samira or Azuma. Yoshihiki as the victim, with Samira or Azuma as the killer. But, I'll just have to wait and see.

And reading that ending...I'm guessing Yoshihiki's about to be lookin' a lot like Nagito with those explosives (assuming he got some explosives from the gym locker), if ya know what I-
