Okay I just love how you’re bringing up all these plot threads the last couple of chapters. The hints of something (whatever that is, I’m still confused) with Mairi’s great-aunt/her family in general? I’m trying to figure out any way they could possibly have a connection to everything else going all. But also, Calla and Mairi are so sweet and I’m excited to see them possibly have some sort of relationship? Also I liked the hints with the Malfoys, and am interested in the book Calla bought.

Really understand the infuriating frustration here. If Callas magic is getting weaker and she is worried over how to protect herself then she should learn muggle style defenses. Keep a knife on her, learn martial arts, or hell get ahold of a gun. A gun might be a one trick pony but it's better then nothing.

calla’s really cute in this chapter, i love the homely feel of this christmas and its interesting to see her interaction with dumbledore too.

This was such a brilliant chapter. I like how it’s a slight change in tone from the last few and we’re having a bit of time to breathe but there’s still so much happening to theorise over, from the dream to Calla’s attempts at Legilimency to the Prophet article (I like this slightly different angle created by the presence of the Aurors and calla’s capture) and of course, Mairi! I’m super excited to see where you go with this and am eagerly awaiting an update.
As for predictions, I’d really like to see Calla discover the horcruxes or at least gain an understanding about them and possibly discover the locket at Grimmauld Place? It would be nice to see further canon divergence play off in this year, and I’d really like to see how this affects relationships within the Ravenclaw, since we can see Padma’s family are in clear support of Calla and Harry, but I imagine the Greengrasses may be rather different in their approach. Of course Terry and Isobel are both Muggleborns and Lisa is related to squibs (if I remember that correctly from a few chapters ago) but it’d be interesting to see more of those other characters’ families and backgrounds. I also really like how you’ve occasionally diverted points of view to other characters when necessary and that would be super fun to see this year as well!
I think this comment has gotten a little long aha, so I’ll wrap it up by saying congrats on writing chapter number one hundred and I can’t wait to read on!

i really love the interaction between harry calla and remus and hope we see more of that in third year! ancient runes also seems like a very interesting class and i think i will enjoy this sections

It's nice to see that Calla has someone to support her after the fight with No-nose. The fluff scenes are nice with all the serious events going on with your story. I hope that Mairi somehow shows up more but I get that could be hard with her muggle status. I look forward to reading your version of OotP!

About predictions... Just like I was anticipating the Yule Ball for year 4, Im superrrr anticipating the DA (maybe with different name) this year, for once, Racenclaw wouldnt be underrepresented like in canon, although at least one of their parents will believe the Prophet and that would generate some drama, specially because unlike Harry with Seamus, Calla doesnt just do "get mad then ignore things". And I want Calla to have her summer love, she deserves it!

it’s nice to see trelawney earlier on in the story and from calla’s POV. does this mean she’ll study divination next year? im curious about what trelawney’s seen in callas future though maybe she’s just being her dramatic self. excited to read more.
