this is amazing and my whole being loves it. lance being hurt and not quite realizing at first it is something i found really interesting (and can kinda relate to). i just really like this fic. well done, i love how you got each character so accurate and i look forward to reading more of your writing (be it a 3rd chapter of this or other stories)

This was great! I love how Lance was so sure that it was just a bruise and his surprise to find out it was more. The team's reaction was also great, I could picture it perfectly.

I think adrenaline is so interesting in cases like this. Not only does it allow you to push beyond normal human limitations it can make you blind to pain. And sheesh Lance, getting shot is not a bruise! Dang! Lucky shot on the Galra's end, for sure.
