I spent some time sifting through Lucifer fanfics looking for a good one. This one was exactly what I was looking for. You have an excellent grasp on the characters, and I could just about hear the dialogue you wrote in Tom Ellis's voice. I really enjoyed Lucifer grappling with the darkness of humanity. Thank you for writing this

Great last chapter, I love it.

This was really good; the backgrounds on the OCs feel fully realized even when we only get hints dropped in-story, and the details we get of Lucifer's encouters with them expand on what we see in the show in some fascinating ways. (That poor priest picked the wrong guy to get literary with, but Mac may've benefitted from Luci learning to chill by the time he assumes pretentious parents and isn't wrong) And then that darn cute cupcake and spot-on dialogue. Guh. I fear I must leave this realatively generalized and incoherent, but off to read your other works in the fandom.

This story- two words- utterly brilliant

The first chapter in and it is extremely interesting. I always wanted that conversation, for Lucifer to push his Father, to ask. God to me is an awful parent. He's not there for his children at all. He lets them do their own thing and no matter how many times they try to ask the question why there is never a straight answer. It's all like you gotta figure that out by yourself. And I know that's what Lucifer thinks he wants but I don't see him any happier. Aren't parents supposed to help their children find their way? Not leave them alone with nothing.

I've really enjoyed this. It took me back to the Lucifer of the first season...well, maybe a little darker lol but I like that. Hope to see more from you, when you have the time.

I always believed Lucifer had many ineffective run ins with LAs 'finest' before meeting the goodly Detective.

I’m glad you came back to this. I normally give up on things being updated after 6mo but at least this virus has given me a few more updates. I hope you discover the motivation and the muse to finish this because it’s definitely worth reading.
