Any updates so far for ch.16? The manga and Anime of AOT series is almost over UN peacekeeper and I hope the nations of earth will soon meet other nations in the world of AOT...

Why would the researchers even test melee weapons...? The only reason there even is a melee weapon capable of consistently killing a titan in AoT is because they're made out of iron bamboos. The fact that not only earth researchers bothered to tests melee weapons but even considered them "adequate" is laughable and breaks SoB, especially as they don't even have a way for a melee weapon to reach the nape.

Seriously the only reason the Wall Eldians even ended up inventing their special blades and 3DMG is because their firearms research was purposefully suppressed by the government and that forced them down an unconventional tech path (and because Paradis was home to resources like iron bamboo and a prodigious amount of iceburst stones). They would never have even though of using melee weapons against titans after getting advanced enough guns, just like how the Marleyans eventually abandoned even the thought of using melee weapons for dealing with titans. Similarly, the idea of using melee weapons to deal with titans should never have even occurred to the earth researchers, because that's ridiculous and a waste of time and captured titans.

No need to worry. Just take as much time as you need so that way you don't stress yourself out and it'll help you check over things in a chapter incase you felt it needs some editing.

Although, I just hope that you do not plan on making the king (Rod Reiss) make a task force to deal with the UN Peacekeepers since another fanfic did that but the results were nothing more than a disapointment. The writer of that fanfic built them up to be a major threat but was quickly ruined thanks to one chapter that not only felt rushed but also because the writer decided to overpower and nerf said task force (they started out being a threat at the beginning of the chapter to being nerfed badly by the rest of the chapter).
