excellent work on this chapter and man the Sahashi's seem to each have their own dilemmas but Minato's is far greater

This version's added scenes make for both a deeper look into the players' psyche and awkward interactions befitting their dispositions.

One thing I like about this is the dialogue. It feels natural. It drives me crazy when characters talk like robots, but the slang and contractions make it so they speak like actual people

A great testament to no idea being too strange. Sekirei and Saw are not what most would consider, but you do wonder to make it work by focusing on the thematic contrast between them; of love and pain, devotion and redemption. Makes for some interesting "mini-games" and helps fuel the broader story. Of course, some work better than others, but it is great over-all.

Having Benitsubasa as the deuteragonist is an surprising choice, but I can easily so why. Minato works very well as a Saw-game focus character and this is certainly more his game than hers. Really interested to see how that all plays out. Not sure about Yukari, though.

For what does not work, or at least just feels off, I point most to "The One They Call Mathis" seeming like a pointless character. John Kramer works in isolation, but his interactions with Karasuba and Akitsu often seem stilted and one-note. Also not a fan of Natsuo having no character in this - he is arguably one of the best choices for a game, considering his canon motives, but that might just be upcoming.

All and all, a lot of great ideas with even more potential for some amazing character moments and story beats. Glad you decided to come back to this. Sekirei can never get enough love, in my opinion, and Saw is a difficult beast to write for and you do both well.

I enjoyed this chapter a lot. I love how evil you made Karasuba. Granted, she's like this in an anime, but the fact that even someone like Jigsaw understands how irredeemable she is only lends further proof to how twisted she can be.

I've never seen any of the Jigsaw movies and my only understanding of what he's about is what's in this fic, but it's still worth noting.

I'm sorry you feel the community's let you down, and people really haven't given you any solid reviews, but it's possible that many of the people who read this story are unsure of what they can say. Anyway, I hope you do continue this story. I read the other version of it and enjoyed it quite a bit.
