Excellent portrayal of two very conflicting mental processes. I really enjoyed it for the really realistic depiction of how very differently T'Pol thinks to the average Human (or indeed the far-from-average Commander Tucker) and how she really has to work to adapt in order to make her communication and co-operation with Trip successful.

I discovered your stories reading this one. That prompted me to read all the past ones. I should say that I find your writing very captivating for their the deep portraing of the inner thoughts of our favorite couple. I hope you will continue.

Sub-commander and commander are equivalent ranks in the naval and Vulcan chain of command, T'pol took command because she had rank respective seniority in terms of number of years at that paygrade and because "muh wiser more mature spess-elves." Also because they were pushing Jolene as a draw for the show.
