Reviews for Shall never kill no matter what
Braconte chapter 1 . 4/14
I love this one-shot fanfiction it’s really well written and it keeps the main focus of each character. I’ve already stated before in previous reviews before that Batman should never kill and neither should any other superhero. But what bothers me the most is that some fans will make the dumbest excuses regarding the argument of Batman’s no kill rule. Almost everybody will say stuff like

“If Batman kills than he’s no better than the criminals he faces and he’s no longer compelling as character.”

Whenever I hear that I’m like really that’s your argument. I’m pretty sure Batman can still be compelling even if he breaks his one rule. I mean based on the stories you’ve written for Batman you did a really good job with having the Dark Knight still retain his ideals even if he breaks them . Keep up the great work.
RenesmeVivio chapter 1 . 11/5/2019
Well your right, this code is sometimes... ugh alright of course in the fan fiction life this will never happen but duh in the real life ... these situations does happen and you will make the right choice by ... killing.
Bats I do loves you and the other heroes who have the same moral code I do admire you but ... life is sucks and you need to do the thing that you hate the most.
Well if every single show will have the real life scenario it will definitely ends quickly or badly, heh.
Gijinka Renamon chapter 1 . 10/25/2019
As much as I like superhero comics, the "no kill" rule can get very frustrating when it involves villains like the Joker. Of course out-of-universe they'll never be killed because they make money, so that doesn't help... in fan fiction, however, all bets are off.
HaretaSora chapter 1 . 5/10/2019
The way I see it killing is a last resort and something to be done if the person is irredeemable and a monster - like the Joker

WW has killed before, she killed someone to free Clark from their control and both Clark and Bruce were upset at her for that - which is ridiculous

Even after what Joker made Superman do in Injustice Bruce was still upset that Clark killed the Joker - now Im not saying in anyway what Clark did after that was justified - but I feel WW should have been the one to calm things down. Saying to Bruce that what Joker did was beyond saving and how he deserved to die and saying to Clark that his plan is insane and to stop

At times I wonder what Joker would have to do to get Bruce to kill him. Would he have to kill all his Robins, Batgirls, Alfred, his son, Selina, and his resurrected parents to get him to kill OR would Batman still yell about "I can't kill! If I do I'll be just like him!"

If Batman didnt kill the Joker after Jason died then that poses a question of 'Is there ever a too far that the Joker can go to make Batman snap?' and I think the answer will always be no. Batman will always put the life of one psycho above hundreds of others at present time or down the line that the Joker might/is going to kill

i guess you think injustice superman didn't have such a bad idea
OmniUIShaggyOverexaggerated chapter 1 . 12/22/2017
The No Killing Rule has reached an extreme high that can't be turned back from. Sometimes, villains have to die to save innocent lives. Oliver says so, cause he's done it, he's still a hero. Batman and Superman disappoint in this regard yet again.
Aryan229 chapter 1 . 10/29/2017
Very nice. and great work.
Maybe Batman or superman's thought is right. but Like Oliver said they should put innocent life first.
Maybe it is up to court to decide but police and army also have right to shoot in certain circumstances. Even People also buy gun to defend themselves.
Batman and Superman should understand what Oliver did is not murder but self defense like police does.
It is nothing but their fear that It might become habit. In superman case it will become worse.
So they should find balance.
It is just comic world's stupid rule that have no meaning. In man of steel Superman killed Zod. so I liked that superman because it is closer to reality.
BlackCanary3341 chapter 1 . 10/29/2017
Batman and Superman need to get their heads out of their asses... That kid's death is on Bruce's head... Oliver is totally right, they are no better than the bad guys if they are not willing to kill the bad guy so that they won't have any blood on their hands. They are too self-righteous in my opinion.
Lauriver4ever chapter 1 . 10/28/2017
Hey look, Arrow Oliver and he still has his balls! Oliver makes a very good point. Sometimes, the bad guys need to die and you can still be a hero while doing it. Keep up the great work and may the force be with you.
Bl4ckHunter chapter 1 . 10/28/2017
Bruce's "NO KILLING" rule tested is typical. No way he would ever kill, exceptionally he finds a way to rig the "KILL OR BE KILLED" thing but sometimes he just can't do it, resulting in death of an innocent.

Though, I remember, in animated film BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD, where Jason Todd wanted the Batman to kill the Joker but he couldn't because as Bruce explained; the killing part would be too easy but if Bruce would kill once, he might never stop.

And Ollie is right, sometimes killing is necessary since there may be no other choice.
