What a wonderful story, I really enjoyed it, but I can't help but thing that there is still so much to be written. Severus' situation in particular seemed to be left unresolved. I would have loved for him to become an adult again and see Harry adjusting to the change. Their relationship would be interesting even if he remained a child for a little longer. There are so many possibilities to explore. Is there any change we can hope for a sequel? I truly hope you would consider it, this is definitely one of my favourite fan fictions:)

Hmm. I didn't expect the story to just end here. You wrote in your note halfway that you knew what ending you wanted and worked your way there, but there are several loose ends and I thought there'd be a sequel or epilogue to answer questions, like, is Stevie changing back to Severus when Harry starts Hogwarts, and, Dumbledore expected Severus to (permanently) benefit from this... task mentally (less Occlumency, emotionally more balanced) and perhaps physically (eyesight), but did he? You mention he let his Occlumency walls down and had fewer mood swings with the pills, but did he change as a person?

Anyway, all in all I enjoyed the story. The way Snape talks is already not suitable to talk TO a ten-year-old, much less AS one, which was very funny. Later on however, I found myself feeling sorry for sweet bubbly Harry, who has to deal with grumpy Severus for months on end. It was funny while Stevie protected him from the Dursleys, but is says a lot about Harry's personality and the way the Dursleys treated him that he never burst into tears bc of Severus's behavior... Severus really needs to learn to be a bit nicer to people. Harry isn't actually dumb, he's just a kid... It just showed painfully what a bad combination they are.

Last thingies: you really should just read the whole thing carefully for typos, half sentences, double words and things like 'is' instead of 'his' and 'to' i.o. 'so', because you have quite a lot of those, and I agree this needs to be Brit-picked wrt maple trees, a screen outside a window, siding on a house and other details that sound rather American to me, not to mention lqnguage like 'gotten' and 'flashlight'. The devil is in the details...
I hope you keep writing though, I like your style!

Why would 10-year-old Stevie or 30-year-old Severus need reading glasses? 30 is too young for that, and teen Severus had a tiny handwriting so obviously he had no trouble reading small letters, so...?

I also doubt he never went to school, with his Muggle father, in a Muggle neighborhood.
Anyway, overall I like your story, and Stevie's way of talking is hilariously off for a 10yo :-)

I can't believe I reached the end of this story. It hold me all along, I wish it could never end. I loved your take on Severus, how you wrote Harry, and everything really. It all make sense it's beautiful. Even Dumbledore is just on point I feel. And the end is just... perfectly. Thank you.

This is a good story, a very interesting premise. However, and please take this in the intent it is written, as constructive criticism. You are writing a story based in the UK, but you use US terminology. In the UK they dont have block parties, we have street parties. Distance would be how many streets away not how many blocks. We don't eat doughnuts for breakfast, don't call police cozzers. When you mentioned the number of tv channels in an earlier chapter, in the uk in that time period we had only 3 channels. Very few people had satellite tv. Maple trees dont usually grow in gardens. Post isnt collected from your house, you use a postbox a d postal workers are postmen.

So when can we expect the sequel?
