This is so sweet and so in character!

Gah! I love this! It’s wonderfully written and immersive, everyone feels like they’re in character, and it’s just so...so...ADORABLE! This Christmas chapter was the best yet! Hopper struggling with parenting, El’s innocence and love for the Christmas season, it’s just wonderful. I eagerly await the next chapter.

I absolutely love what you're doing here, Elfpen. Your writing is so immersive I feel like I'm watching the show. Your Hopper characterization is spot on and a joy to read. Jane-El is a treat as well. I love reading about her Wonder at new experiences and the vulnerability of a person who is so powerful.
Favorite scenes: hanging the Christmas lights and the possibility of el actually levitating Hopper. And your description of Hopper choking on the cinnamon waffles was hilarious. The burn. oh, the burn. Brilliant!

really loving this story and i hope you continue it! and please update frequently :) you write the characters really well. I love how you portray Hop, Jane, and Joyce. Love the relationship between Hop and Jane and the one between Joyce and Hop.

Beautiful. I absolutely love this. Your Hopper and Elle are right out of the show. This plotline was one of my favorite of season 2.

I always love el/hopper fanfics and this was no exception! It was so cute seeing el and hopper bonding. I also liked the interactions between Joyce and hopper. The story was also so true to character I could pretty much see this as being exactly what happened. Keep up the great work! X

I finished Stranger Things two days ago, and have been dreaming about a El/Hooper fan fiction ever since.
It's awesome to be able to read such a story, it's even better when the author is one of my favorite!
