I remember reading at least a few chapters of this a long time ago, but I'm not on very often and that was it until now. I admit I did skip to where Stef found her since I already had the picture of her captivity and assaults, but it is so good. Her emotions as well as the moms' are written very well. It's heartbreaking but a very good fic. I will keep an eye out for more.

So happy Callie is going home. I can't wait to see how Callie will be like when she gets home. Keep up the good work.

This fic is so sooo good. It's absolutely gut-wrenching and kind of sickening to read but that just speaks to your skill as a writer and a story teller. You can evoke really strong reactions and powerful emotions in your readers. Thank you for updating this!
I love the detail that you write in and the time and care you spend on so vividly showing us not only what's going on but also how the characters feel. I know you said in one of your author's notes that the kids are all away for the summer in this fic and you'll eventually be working them in. I'm looking forward to seeing them come into this story and how they react to everything that's happened/happening. No worries if not (because this is your story and no matter what you do it'll be great) but maybe could you bring them in in at least mentions earlier? So like, I know you said Brandon was at Juilliard and Mariana Jesus were at camps and Jude's with Sharon, and it totally makes sense that they'd be away for the summer and especially that Stef and Lena wouldn't want them at home during all of this, but maybe Stef and Lena just mention them in conversation or something. Like Lena says she spoke to Brandon earlier and he says he's learning loads, or Sharon texted them something about Jude or even they're just mentioned in passing at some point or in thought or something. Sorry I'm not trying to tell you how to write your story! I totally understand that it's not feasible for you to incorporate the other kids into the story right now and I know whatever you do will be great, I just figured I'd suggest it.
