Was hard to believe Auriel’s aura was broken. But, Qrow was my favorite. His skill and ferocity, and his desperate drive to protect his girls easily won my heart.

I’m dying to see him and yang and Ruby have their talk.

Yay! Penny’s alive! She’s really awesome.

Qrow, you don’t need to worry about Wiess and Blake sharing a bed. They’re teammates, they won’t try anything.

Poor Cinder is breaking and shattering. But to what end? If she was meant to be annilated, she would be. Whatever’s doing this to her, either wants the pieces so finely ground that they would not even be dust... or perhaps he’s trying to break her in the right way.

I remember a bully in the MLP series. Diamond Tiara. She was an enemy for so long. But she had to be broken before she could become a friend. Broken of the pain, of her choices.

Yang was hurting, and Audruel helped her heal. Our brains are funny. They can get locked into cycles and break themselves. It’s happened to me a few times. Sometimes we need others to help us break lose.

Human minds are broken, badly designed. Flawed. But they’re also the best we’ve got.

Yang was hurting but was healed. Cinder is breaking but stands strong as she can.

Light and Darkness.

Holy crap. Poor Cinder. Why is he?...

The deal. Part of the deal was to destroy Cinder. (Or the dragon?)

Fuck. What is he doing to her? Does ending her life not count? Does he have to obliviate everything about Cinder? Reduce her to nothing, incapable of ever coming back?

Cinder was innocent once. A child, harmless and pure.

What happened to make her like this?

Also, though it was brief, I absolutely loved the little training montage. And the bonds forming between the team.

And the most enjoyable kiss ever!

Ooh! Bonding now! I wanna see Winter and Weise hang out! I wanna see Yang and Ruby be horrified at Wiese being their aunt if Winter and Qrow get together!

I can’t wait to see more!

Nothing deep here, just that I was giggling happily for the entire time we were on board the airship with the gang. Goodness I love how these characters interact.

Especially after talk about this kiss! Ruby and Nora getting so excited, and Wiess being a tiny bit huffy even though she always hated the advancements.

God I love this story.

And now I want to see Audruel get drunk with Qrow! Please!

I’ve never been so terrified by a character before.

Wounded, dying even, but so goddamn terrifying.

Cinder. Mercury. Emerald. Truth be told, I only their chibi forms. Their adorable, harmless, chibi forms. Here they seem more human. Here, not knowing their crimes and atrocities, I can’t hate them.

I see their humanity. The things they love, that they fear. It doesn’t make them good people. But... they’re still people.

That matters at least.

I’m glad Auruiel didn’t kill them.

Maybe he’s wrong. Maybe redemption is possible. In its own way.

(I hope Neo at least can be redeemed)

I forgot that Pyyrha could be so badly wounded. Regular humans, I’d be shocked that their bodies were intact. But this is the world of Remnant. Super humans. Battle Maidens that cannot he brought down.

Funny how quickly I fell back into that mindset. Even knowing this story is the only thing that saves Pyyrha.

I don’t know Auriel yet. Can’t even spell him name. And he’s not a good person. Doesn’t that have empathy for humans.

Well. Okay. He does for Pyyrha. And I think beautiful Ruby impressed him too.

I’m dying to see what happens next!
