This is quite a good story. While I enjoy Rias/Issei, I can enjoy how you have made Issei grow as a person. I hope you come back soon with another chapter.

Issei is not seeking revenge and if I'm reading everything right, is still hoping to get Rias affection, even after everything. He also decided to abandon his most endearing quality - being a pervert. Sorry, but I can't continue.

I can see a path to issei and asia, but just I don't know the way that she stayed still while issei was humiliated, you know, she didn't even tried, just let he goes, for someone who was supposed to have strong fillings for him sounds a even greater betrayal

Yessss! I just love reading confessions! The wait was worth it! Amazing writing too. Everything was on point.

I am wondering how the trade went through. Issei is worth 8 pawns so the trade would have to be for 8 pawns, not any other pieces. Sairaorg invested 7 pawns into Nemean Regulas and bonded that sacred gear to himself at the same time. So Sairaorg only has one pawn he can trade, he literally cannot trade Nemean nor can he get pawns by trading away other pieces. Nor can Rias accept other pieces than pawns for Issei.

I mean that right there makes this whole story implausible and ruins any possible enjoyment for anyone with an appreciation for the world.

That's before we get into the fact that Rias would have to be an Oscar level actress for the end scene of the rating game. Something that is unlike her as we see that she is very expressive of her actual emotions all the time.

So basically, excellent writing aside, this story has just too many plot holes to be enjoyable on any level.

I just binge read the entire fic and I got to say, this is one of the best dxd fics I've read. I like that Issei's harem isn't rias or akeno like any number of the other fics. And the way you've characterized everyone is very well done.

I love the story and the way you are realistically building the relationship and characters.
but this right here(chapter) shows exactly why I hate issei. I just hate how much of a bitch he is and even though I know why he acts the way he does and understand why he can't break out of his mentality alone it still annoys me to no end. I almost hate him as much as shirou (from fate).
anyways I hope you don't takes this as an insult cause it's not, not even close in fact it's a compliment.
you are able to both keep the characteristics of the character from canon and yet change him in a believable way without having the story suffer.
so yeah while I hate issei as a character I love the story and believe you will be able to make him into a great character
so keep up the great work
