Well, I think it was in 'Last Light' where Fred is described as having a "bent" nose, or something along those lines (can't remember the exact words). So while he is no longer depicted as having has his bridge-scar from 'Halo Legends', I'll still take that as vindication of my headcanon. XD

...ANYWAY, this is the reunion we always should have gotten for Blue Team. Just quiet comraderie coupled with relief, and tinged with a bit of uncertainty over what happens next. The dialogue is very well written. And the little gestures between the Spartans scattered in between were a nice touch. Good job with Kelly's POV too. It crushes me to think about, but you really captured the type of conflicting emotions I think she might feel over finally having her best friend back, seeing him so tired, being tired herself, and also thinking about the rest of her family as well. She is too good for this world. :')

Well, at the very least I can still imagine something like this could have happened at some point soon-ish after John's return in 2557. No matter what it is a great story. Thank you for writing it!

This was a pleasant and well written fic. It was a wonderfull read and seems like it would be ideal for a second chapter from John's POV *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* Just kidding but seriously the story is wonderful.
