Lotheneil chapter 1 . 6/12
Thank you for fixing SoW ending for me. That's how I choose to remember it from now on.

G-g-gravewalker chapter 1 . 3/17
Better ending than the game gave him, that's for sure. Nice job!
01SilverDragon01 chapter 1 . 8/17/2018
That was very well written, and I felt more than satisfied when Talion finally got to rest.

I know you wanted to tie it into the movies, but I would personly have loved if you had taken some creativer liberties and make a mini series where the fellowship slowly learn the history of the grave walker but still asking the question "What happened to him?". Likewise we could learn more of Talion's unlife as a ringwraith. Maybe even have a heavily emotional scene where Idris learns of his ultimate fate.
That would have been awesome.

But still well written and again, there was a small tear at the end

LAWRENCE chapter 1 . 2/8/2018
Now THAT is now Shadow of War should have ended followed by Talion in the fields at peace.
Well done.
KHB123 chapter 1 . 1/24/2018
I really enjoyed reading this. It is very hard to find any good Shadow of Mordor/War fanfics, and this one was really deep. I liked how wove the characters from Lord of the Rings with the characters from the Middle-earth games. I also liked how we got to see Talion one of the Nazgul and how he was a legend to Gondor during the War of the Ring. I also liked seeing Idril being a survivor of Minas Ithil and made it to Minas Tirith. I liked her.
The timeline is really tricky to figure out, but my personal theory is that the game was just following along with the book's chronological events, taking place at least ten or twenty years after the Battle of the Five Armies, which could be possible for the movie as well. But then again, the movie's War of the Ring was twenty years behind the original timeline, so it was different. Also, it's like you said: Minas Ithil had fallen long before The Hobbit and became Minas Morgul, so they changed that in the games. That's why it's confusing: is it following the book's or the movie's timeline? I wish WB would just tell us what the year it was supposed to take place for either game.
Rook435 chapter 1 . 11/26/2017
Well that was a good read. Really like the details you did for the battle. Although now I am unsure what will happen next because now Talion's dead. Anyway can't wait to see what will happen next.
Tikigod784 chapter 1 . 11/25/2017
This was a cathartic read for me. Somehow I don't think Talion's ending in a hypothetical third game will be as... simple or elegant as it is in this story. Nice work!
