I would be careful in making Marco TOO whiny about the abuse of magic happening in Mewni. I like his character but there are times he comes off as a bratty kid. Other than that, wow, that was a beat down! I’m loving the progress so far, please keep up the good work!

also yes, the finally was horrible, well at least i have your story. but a good thing the ending did is giving more weight to your story (or Marco actions in it), since if Marco destroy magic all the species and civilizations that count on it will be destroyed, and if he fail, then everything will be destroyed, i think he is doing the right thing to a extent since he is saving as much as he can, but it's probably isn't a lot in the multiverse where as far as we know 90% of the universes in it are using magic, i'm liking this morally grey area.

The clash has begun and Marco's new job is taking shape. And Star is handing her role now pretty good honestly. Worried now that i said that...

I feel like Higgs serve no purpose in this story anymore. Since she is no longer a squire or a knight, and she is away from Mewni, to continue to use her is nonsensical. Moreover, as a character, she is extremely dull and boring.

Also, it would be really awful if you turned this fanfic into a Miggs fanfic. Hekapoo is a lot more interesting and complex. Furthermore, her interactions and relationship with Marco is much more intriguing, especially since both of them have "history" together. Markapoo is the way to go.

I also would like to point out that while your fanfic's premise kind of is the same as the ending of the show, it does not have to end like the show. Make it original. If not, then stop writing.

P.S. You need to update more often. Otherwise people are going to stop caring.

I understand the Diaz's point, but sometimes bad things can be justified.

If you were told to kill a person to save a 100, then the right thing to do is kill that person. You could say that you'd try and save all 101, but in the end, killing that person is the most realistic and justified answer.

Better to be guilty of something lesser than something major.

This story is amazing. We can see Marco's highway to corruption of the dark side. Marco is like fallen Jedi, manipulated by sith lord. Moreover we have conflict between good , justice and this what's essential to do. At the end like a cherry on the top of cake we have Star and Marco's friends. They don't know how to think about this.
I honestly say that when I started reading this story I was thinking that it will be simple dark story with some fighting scene. I was wrong. Autor created multilevel story.
Just thanks you author for your work I like it so much, even if I don't like idea of main character goal.
