The faker probably had som sort of ability that allows him to steal abilities or sacred gears without the person who he stole them from dying. If it caused someone's death then there would be suspicion. The faker most likely stole an ability that messes with memories and uses it to his own advantage.
The only problem with this ability is that it can only steal peoples abilities that were given to them or inherited. He can't steal abilities that were earned or highly tuned with the original owner.
While he did steal the booster gear and pawns to take issei place. The booster gear still in a way has a connection to issei and will most likely fight against the thief when issei is strong enough to to reclaim him.
The faker because of his stealing ability thinks that he is on top of the world. That he has everything and that he can go flaunting it around.
The only problem for him is that persona users are immune to his abilities to mess with minds and steal abilities because you can't steal the power of persona.

After the final battle and with issei telling his friends about the supernatural world they all transfer the his old school after issei is cleared of all charges. As they attend issei old school people would recognize him and see that he is a completely different person. When the faker sees issei new friends he tries to work his magic on them and is shocked that it isn't working.
Later on the faker uses the booster gear to try and fight issei but issei easily beats him even though the guy us using scale mail.
Issei then proceeds to rip off the stolen gear. This causes a large reaction when every single person who the faker has manipulated begin to have double memories of everything them they find out their real memories of what the little shit faker did.
Then as this happens all of the abilities that the faker has stolen leaves him and he only has his steal ability left. Issei and his friends proceed to beat the living hell out of the brat.
Rias and co are in denial that they had betrayed issei and it will take a while for them to work up the courage to be his friends again. During that time issei and other boys of the school have a position to make the female uniforms less eroica. This gives everyone who saw issei as a pervert to have a heart attack and pass out.

Im curious on the update schedule of your stories, so i can kniw when ti expect a new chapter if my faverite stories.

So he gets to use every piece of magic his persona have in real life...if his magic powers grow in proportion with his persona powers he might be able to solo Trihexa with his team or at least some major gods because when you can summon the likes of Satanael and your final boss is the dark aspect of biblical god beating the beast of apocalypse doesn't seem all that hard to do.

i like how you did with issei's personality. he is much for protective to his friends now due to the exlerience he had before shujin much more fierce and Serious than canon issei and more willing to harm or threaten people who mock or harm his friends. i wonder how scared the faker will react once he returns to kuoh to beat the living shit out of him for what he had done. though for pairing how will you decide it though? if you havent decided its fine since its best to focus on the persona part of the story.

still a very interesting take on this story. cannot wait for more, keep it up!

Interesting. I'm curious to what you meant by that Hideyoshi had taken his place in the Occult club, and that this other guy even had Ddraig's Sacred Gear on his arm. Does that mean Issei's no longer a devil?

I do think that the reality altering thing that had ISsei replaced shouldn't effect the Great Red m who is in the dimensional gap-and it would be interesting to have some others from the DxD side involved in this...

okay one, Its good... other than it being most canon stuff anyone can write. Your not letting Issei be Issei, he is goofy and fun character, you've basically turned Issei into Akira/Ren which is not good cuz we all know Akira/Ren's story. I wanna know Issei's.
Two, please tell me your not going to do all the Arcs in Persona 5. Not only is it a waste of time cuz we all know what happens in them, it is tedious and long and its going to make more frustrated as tome goes on. My advice, use Sae Interrogation as a way to tell the story. Rather then Issei remembering everything and have flash backs, let him say the story to Sae briefly. Like for example have him talk with Sae about a certain event then cut to a flashback where he did something different to what Akira/Ren did. Also exclude fight scenes cuz we know what happens in those. Just put in the start and end and maybe the middle.
three, since this a crossover and dxd verse is huge. Have a few characters interact with Issei. Sure I'm Hidyesoshi is an issue but he has other confidants such as Azazel, Vali, etc. Just make it interesting please.
Overall yes its a good idea to deal with but the way your doing it is wrong.

This is one of the few, rare, fics where the protagonist isn't a wiped bitch. He's not an evil, apathic psychopath, but neither is he the stupid, perverted, annoying dickhead that Issei usually is. I actually like this potrayal of the character and while he has his badass, childish moments, he can also be mature anf thoughful. If only the author had a better update schedule, I believe this could easily climb the ladder to be one of the best DD/Persona crossover, especially when those are already so rare.

First of all I really do love the idea of this story. It’s an amazing way to mix the settings simply by making them removed. That doesn’t even touch on my favorite part though and that would be the presentation. You write every word so that it oozes the persona style and this take on Hyoudo has just enough of the flavor of DxD in him to carry the crossover aspect, for now at least. I do hope to see more radical differences later but this is still in its infancy and needs some time to grow. But I do hope you’ll up date this more regularly.
