![]() ![]() ![]() The central concept of those kind of healers being a secret presence on Earth for centuries felt a bit off, but I can’t fault the idea of Clarke having powers, and it was genuinely fascinating to see how those powers subtly affected her role in the 100 and on Earth once she landed. The idea of her being driven away from the 100 and running into Lexa is simple but effective, and you come up with some intriguing aspects of Grounder culture to explore their views on Clarke’s abilities and the consequences of her new affiliation with Lexa. The moment when Raven and Murphy return to Clarke’s life was handled particularly well, giving her distinctive allies with potentially ‘useful’ skills while simultaneously confirming that she lacks her expected allies from canon, given her lack of contact with Raven in this version of events and her naturally poor relationship with Murphy. Developments among the Coalition are also handled well, as she balances the need to use her new status with her natural discomfort about exploiting her abilities in such a manner, to say nothing of Clarke’s moment of insight into how culture on the ground has grown where the Ark basically stagnated. With the addition of some of the 100 to give Clarke more familiar allies, you come up with a neat way to give her more reason to bond with the surviving free 100, particularly as characters such as Monty have their own opportunity to shine. The final confrontation with the mountain has been well-written with some interesting consequences, and I look forward to seeing what’s coming up next for this storyline as Clarke tries to find the rest of the Ark now that Mount Weather have been taken off the board. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Update! |

![]() ![]() I thought the Bellamy in your story was spot on. What most people conveniently forget that Bellamy was a statutory the rapist. Everyone one of the girls he had sex with were under 18 (except Raven) and he was in a forceful position of power. As was the most selfish person on the dropship |
