I felt lucky logging in after a while to see you had recently updated. The chapter isn't very long, but I found it very engaging going from the interesting setting to the action and back to Odysseus. The only weird thing for me is the characterization of the Emperor as at all caring, but I do think he has some sympathy to his motivations to squeeze out from what little we really get of him in the show. Anyway, I'm looking forward to finding out who all these terrorists are.

Also I laughed at myself for never realizing that at least some of Charles' hair has to be a wig, the sides at least. Nice detail brought in there :P

I think your characterization of Odysseus is on point, but i do think that your made him a little to casual in order to be relatable, "jeans and t-shirt" ? he is a royal of Britannia, he probably has never worn casual clothing in his life, his formal clothes are as comfortable as clothes can be.
The xx Britannians are all are spoiled in the finer things in life, that can't be denied. because they don't.

This was really interesting! First Odysseus story that I've read. I liked the background beginning part, and the descriptions of the government, weapons and such were well done. Can't wait to see where it goes, with that wide open AU.

Nice touch near the end. Not many can pull off a folded-in-the-middle narration.
