...still comes back and reads this every once in a while.

I don't know why I so clearly remember the day this last chapter came out, but it's as though it were yesterday. I woke up to get ready for work, but noticed an e-mail with a story update. I didn't have time to read it at home, so I copy-pasted the whole chapter into Notepad, then saved it on a floppy disk (!) to open and print later at work. I printed this with the morning paperwork so it wouldn't look suspicious; the pages sat in my locker all day, and I was desperate to read them. My boyfriend surprised me and picked me up from my job, but I excused myself the second I got in his car because I'd been waiting so long to read your work. He was not in the greatest of moods for that, but the chapter was worth it. XD

The boyfriend has long since gone, but your story remains, and has always been a comfort: something familiar to hold onto when things get rough. I read it when I had problems at school, problems with the boyfriend, problems at home... and the more time goes on, the truer it holds. I read it in the good times, too, because it's so cozy, like a big blanket fresh from the dryer, perfect to snuggle up and get lost in. Sometimes, I'll even notice little things that I didn't pick up before, or had forgotten about, and, already hopped up on nostalgia, get giddy all over again. And maybe, just a little maybe, it's sneaked into and inspired some of my own work as well.

I'll never know exactly how the story would have turned out, though I can make some pretty good guesses from the teasers you used to post in your LiveJournal, and it's been ten long years since the last update, but I live in hope that one day I'll be treated to a new e-mail notification, and it'll be just like yesterday once more.

hi! i hope you are doing welland even though it would seem that this story will no longer be finished,thank you for sharing this to the world. you are one of the few writers who can capture Link and Zelda so well after the game. and the OCs are also crafted well. you are amazing! kudos!

Love this story! You left us on a cliffhanger! I so deeply wish you would get on here and finish this. Its a great read with a wonderful, and intriguing plot line. It deserves completion! !

He just wanted to say that I really enjoy what you've wrote and it's by far the best fanfic I've ever read and I've read a lot to be honest. I'm really sad to see that you never continued the story or ended which in sure we would all like to see. What I'm trying to say is though that we would all love to see the story continues and hopefully finished. I hope you see this but anyways thanks for all you've wrote.
