Summer!Alter was an interesting experience, but yeah an epilogue would fit real well if you ever find the motivation.

Hmm... looks like Summer might have reincarnated as Pyrrha, sort of, but left behind a 'ghost' self. And Summer just ended up giving Pyrrha a second chance herself. Given the 'Summer's stuff was hidden in her locker' thing. Probably even picked the same locker subconsciously.

And it would explain why she had to CREATE her own identity. Plus the comments of actually having a family.

Though if that were the case, I wonder why there wasn't the silver eyes? Perhaps the reason why she couldn't get a 'second chance' herself... Well, provided that she doesn't end up getting them back herself later on.

I disagree with most opinions on the ending it would seem. I found it utterly satisfying and neatly tied together.

The focus in this fanfic was from beginning to end on pyrrha and summer. It wouldn't make sense to keep going with scenes of the aftermath and how the others coped with their death, as it never was about the others. In the end, they melted together, got to somewhat clear their hearts with the people that mattered to them, before leaving the world for good this time. The whole last chapter felt like a wrap up, with the issues being solved or one after another

The idea of this story is so unique and intriguing, I’m glad I decided to check it out! I can’t wait to see what happens in the upcoming chapters.

This story was an interesting one, and you're right, the ending is definitely unsatisfying. Honestly, I wouldn't even call it an ending, because an ending completes a story, and you've left this story intentionally incomplete. It just stops. That said, I'm not calling it bad. It is, again, interesting. Though I will honestly say, if I had known this was the plan, I wouldn't have read it. I read stories because I want to enjoy them, and I cannot enjoy a story that has a non-ending. They are just too frustrating. It was well-written and everything, but I hope future stories from you are ones I can enjoy fully.

While it may have been a train wreck, the end was decently written. I just wish Pyrrha had gotten more time with Jaune.
