Oh my lord at all the feelings this brings up! I love how gradually you can see how Sherlock starts to care more and more and how he shows it through the little things. And John! Sweet adorable John is just perfect here! Gah I wanted to just wrap the man in a hug and shove him into Sherlock! AndI could feel Greg’s teasing through his text! Just!
THIS IS SO PERFECT!

And then the soft bit at the end! Where Sherlock is just like, “But you’re not gay?” And he sounds so vulnerable and hopeful and just! I wanted to cry! And then John! Beautiful John was just like, “There are always exceptions.” AND I LOVE IT. Especially since that’s something kinda sciency sounding. “There are always exceptions to an expirement. You just haven’t found them yet.”
